That's a tough one. It depends on the extent of quality you're talking about. There are some older manga that are scanlated so poorly it's difficult to read. I do appreciate high quality scans though. At the same time I also appreciate fast scans. I vote for a middle ground of moderate speed and quality.

quality. even though i hate to wait, i´m more happy to get a high quality scanlation after 2 weeks then a crappy scanlation after 1 week

but there are some scanlation teams who can handle both like the Nononono release, which are pretty high quality and fast

Quality, sure i get impatient with releases taking so long... but rushed projects miss out on so much. Grammar is usually misspelled, the images are really rough.... and when scanlations are released with a second version to replace the original because of the crappy quality its a waste of a new release.

I'd rather wait for something thats been double checked
