So I think the question is more like what board game don't I play. Let's see, 3 years ago I was the state champion for my grade at chess. I am also decent at go and chinese chess. I also played 40k for near on 5 years, warhammer fantasy for 3, warmachine for 3, hordes for 2, risk, stratego. You name it, I have probably played it. I am a huge addict for all kinds of games.
Wow that's a lot I really am thinking critically about downloading the rule book to Warhammer I am thinking of playing as the vampires or chaos.
Also have you played a Apocalypse game for 40k??

Ha, Warhammer 40k... Ha.
Anyway, Edition 4 bit it big time, I think. But it fits perfectly for "If it's not broken, don't fix it." I think it was just a marketing move that evades the player base in order to make money. I have the 3 rulebooks sitting right here, gathering dust bunnies.

Yep, i too think D&D 4th ed was only an Arcadizing (woa nice neologism) of the game, with a strategic/arcade mindset in its developing and introducing also new races quite randomly imho.

That's known as a "coin".

I hate the new rules since that happen nothing changed for the necrons and I have such a small army. It sucks so much did you see what they did for the Space Marines Its ridiculous.

I quit playing 40k and fantasy when Warmachine/Hordes came out because the game system was much better from what I found, and the company, being much smaller than Games Workshop, did not seem to find it necessary to continually jack prices up to like 200% of what they had been before. I played Necrons, Space Marines, and Nids when I played 40k, and for Fantasy I played Dwarves, and Ogres. Vamps always seemed fun though, and Chaos is pretty common.

Warmachine seems interesting and less expensive. And by the way did you see what they gave the space marines in the new rule book? They lowered the point value of the figures plus it cost less points to add weapons that is total bs.

Ah, well, I've played some D&D, Earth Dawn, Changeling, and Vampire the Masquerade. Beyond that I enjoy Go, Othello, Checkers, Phase 10, and if TCGs count, Pokemon, Harry Potter, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic the Gathering, Universal Fighting System, and a few others I've just dabbled in.

I have no idea how this thread have anything to do with cards Ill put my 2 cents in. I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh!. Right now I am playing Magic the Gathering. And Pokemo. Ha Pokemon I have been going to the Pokemon league with my brother and best friend and we try to not play that game. Since that the game is so easy to win we already know the strategy get better cards. While the other games we play is more tatical. We make a joke about playing it actually. We always say next week lets play Pokemon then we laugh and say lets play Warhammer 40k. Everyone there hates us like when we walk into the room you hear say they dont even play Pokemon. Then we laugh at them. 😀

Ah,well, I guess my thought is you play TCG on tables, non? But I've never been particularly good at any game, so I think what you do is pretty cool.

If we are talking tcg games as well, I started naruto and 2 weeks after starting won states. Then I quit that and started yugioh, where I have multiple regional top 8s and did well at a couple of shonen jump championships. Now I play magic and am slowly climbing towards upper ranked nationally. I <3 gaming.

Haha, yeah skaven have a tendency to do that. They are alos very boring to paint since there are soo many and they are all the same...

Yeah, I just prefer to paint a smaller numbers to much better quality. If i had to paint that many models to the standard I liked, it would take me a year to paint a skaven army.
