Haha, yeah skaven have a tendency to do that. They are alos very boring to paint since there are soo many and they are all the same...

I actually liked painting them, trying to make everyone of the different, using greenstuff to make unique weapons and armors, adding mutations and accessories...
the guys i played with were also found of house rules, so i made some unique hero units as well...

I get dragged kicking and screaming into tabletop RPGs. D&D, AD&D, AD&D 2nd edition, AD&D 3.5, Rifts, Mekton, Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy, Mekton, Call of Cthulu, Vampire: the Masquerade, Hunter, Star Wars and probably an epic number of failed campaigns. Home brews were the worst.

I actually made up horrible characters like Elmo the Barbarian, Forest Gump the Tech Priest and Elemer Fudd the pop idol just to screw up the campaigns and they still want to drag me into another one.

Why can't people just with poker and blackjack? 🙁

Four 40k armies has two side effects:

  1. No money.
  2. No girlfriend.

Let me tell you ane, there were not many (as in any) girls like that in my area. 😛
Not the reason I gave up on the game though.

I was lucky on that matter.
My girlfriend got addicted to manga but not warhammer but she doesn't mind playing a battle occasionally, she likes Magic: the gathering like me aswell.
we play warhammer rarely but MtG is almost a daily hobby, like manga reading too.

Yeah, I gave up trying to look for a chick who is in to Warhammer (Let alone tabletop games.)
I pretty much go for other nerdy chicks.
Also, sorry for trailing off topic. 🤣

My little brother tried to hook me,
but it didn't work. I've never really liked
any games, except for console and PC
and I am picky in those as well.

If we are talking tcg games as well, I started naruto and 2 weeks after starting won states. Then I quit that and started yugioh, where I have multiple regional top 8s and did well at a couple of shonen jump championships. Now I play magic and am slowly climbing towards upper ranked nationally. I <3 gaming.

It's kinda cool seeing alot of MtG people here but I guess it kinda makes sense. I used to be heavily into MtG. Parents wouldn't let me travel for tournaments but I was part of a playtest group and a few of the guys did pretty well at GP's and stuff. I was really getting into TSP draft when Lorwyn came out... I found the new 2 set blocks and planeswalkers to be retarded so I quit. Plus that game was absolutely draining all the money from me.
