I suffer from Migraines so having a headache is a usual state of affairs for me and I get a migraine pretty much once a fortnight in a good month but it can go up to several times a week, it's very variable. I hate them, I pretty much shut down. I always feel really tired and lightheaded before and after so if I have a lot in a month I can go all month feeling like I'm about to collapse any second. It's so annoying. Sleep usually helps, I avoid painkillers unless it gets really bad. Like sometimes the pain is so bad I actually cry and can't sleep. I don't like taking pills though because I get headaches too often to take a pill for every one. i've had them for 5 years now though so you learn to cope, somehow, lol.

Once or twice a week. And when they do happen, they hurt like hell...
I'd rather live my life without them

drinking 3-5L of water a day helps me
fruits over sweets( low gi is better ), also i keep a bag of mixed nuts with me.most of my headaches stem from dehydration or low blood sugar so it helps a bit

Hardly ever.
(I think headaches after heavy drinking don't count, because they are self-inflicted.)
I am surprised how many of you have headaches regularly. You have my deep sympathy.

Horton's headache (cluster headache), while I have it episodically, about two to three times a year it's still a proper pain in the ass since painkillers don't work at all. I cry and and I cry and I cry and i CRY till I eventually pass out. On the good side my episodes have never lasted more than a month so far, usually they just last between 10-14 days or so, the intensity varies but there is little relief given during these episodes. For some reason I usually get into these cyclic episodes when spring shifts into summer and when summer shifts into autumn.
The degree of pain involved in cluster headaches is markedly greater than in other headache conditions, including migraine. It has been described by female patients as being more severe than childbirth. The pain is lancinating or boring in quality, and is located behind the eye (periorbital) or in the temple, sometimes radiating to the neck or shoulder. Analogies frequently used to describe the pain are a red-hot poker inserted into the eye, or a spike penetrating from the top of the head, behind one eye, radiating down to the neck, or sometimes having a leg amputated without any anaesthetic
Yay! I win! I got the manliest of headaches known to man! (Btw, horton's headache abhors drinking, if you're in a cycle, for gods sake DO NOT DRINK)
But seriously, the ones experiencing headaches a lot.. Make them go away, they're just telling you that somethings messed up so fix it if possible.

Not too often, maybe a couple times a month. Most of my headaches are probably caused by stuff I do, such as not eating, playing an FPS too long, or trying to read while in a moving vehicle (though for some reason, listening to music via headphones prevents this). Only serious headache I can recall was on while I was (or at least felt) sick as hell and was unable to do anything for a couple of days.
