Finally, this fight is over. Maybe now we can finally go back to the actual interesting character, Naruto. Same thing happened a year or so ago when Kishimoto displayed his man-crush on Sasuke by focusing on him for like 4 months. The manga went downhill at that time, but when he went back to Naruto, it became freaking awesome. I just don't know why, but it seems like every fight Sasuke is involved in sucks (other than the early Naruto-Sasuke fight, which was cool).
On a side note, what's with all this Karin hate? I can understand the Sakura hate (even I've become severely annoyed with her after that last incident), but I don't get the Karin hate. What has she done? I've been trying to figure it out since she first appeared. On one hand, I don't really want her dead (call it misplaced chivalry), but on the other hand, Sasuke killing her would make his death much more likely (which I really want to see) since it would make him truly evil (not just emo). Well, we'll see next week.

Sasuke makes such a scary face. And his face is on a double page so... I think Karin is dead. Knowing that she doesn't have as much fan as Hinata, Kishi won't revive her out of nowhere (no genjutsu please)
There is no redemption to Sasuke. Madara can now use him easily 😃

Looking at the position Karin was in as Danzo held her I would guess that she took the hit in the upper chest but not near the heart. She is shorter than Danzo so the alignment of their hearts would be a little off. I don't think that Sasuke would have bothered to tell her to stay still if he did not care what happened to her. I believe I saw this in a Dirty Harry movie (my Dad is a true Eastwood fan). I don't know if Karin can heal herself but seeing that Sakura The Healer is riding in on her white horse (or dog) I am thinking that Karin is going to make it out of this ok.

Interesting chapter for once. Kinda wish Sasuke was killed by Danzo, but w/e dreams don't come true. At least it was amusing to see how evil and psychotic he has become. "I got one ni-san" too funny. As for Karin looking closely at it her and Danzou's shoulders are almost at the same level so maybe she died. Or like someone else said he pierced her through the shoulder or a little above her heart.
Anyways she never added much to the series and was just a cheap heal for Sasuke, I will have to assume she is dead, but wouldn't be surprised if she survives.
Still fails along with Bleach in comparison to One Piece a truly magnificent manga whose fillers aren't crap. Go Bubble boy and Naruto's homoness for every filler character.

WTF! Sasuke killed one of his "So-called teamate." His darkside is increasing... WHAT A LOSER! I wish Naruto would just kill him already and end this arc!!!

Crazy shippers don't like anybody of the opposite gender near one of the characters they ship. That seems to account for a good chunk of the Karin hate. There's also the camp that hates any/every Sasuke fangirl.
I want a good!Sasuke ending, so I'm hoping that he hasn't actually killed her (and, I like the character.)

Think about this (if you have read Samurai Deeper Kyo): Samurai Deeper Kyo makes samurais that can clearly kick a ninja's ass any day of the week. Kishi makes ninjas that can kick samurais asses any day of the week. BUT... in Naru, I no Longer see any ninjas. These fights are way to loud and brash for a ninja fight. What I'm getting at is... this is getting gay. Not in the derogatory sense, in the you like watching man on man action sense.
Okay.
This manga was good around maybe 20-30 chapters ago (after the Pain fight). Now people keep pulling some stupid Jesus-miracle level attack out their ass. Some of these techniques were definitely not meant for assassination. Remember? Thats what ninjas used to do...
Well you kind of have point but it seems u missed the fact that ninjas in naruto's world aren't relegated to spy and assassination missions but are the very definition of the military and it makes perfect sense that "hidden ninja villages" (which aren't very hidden) to have a few nukes and tak nukes in their arsenal. Which without they'd be virtually useless.
As far as Karin goes I don't hate her like I do sakura at least Karin has is useful in a fight even if its just providing intel, to bad she isn't telepathic would certainly increase her value.

Where's the "she's-completely-useless" faction?
I don't like (or dislike) Sasuke nor do I ship non-romance manga.
I was quite open to her in the beginning, but she seems like a bad copy of Sakura. And yes, I'm implying Sakura is better. Sure, she's whiny, but the people who complain about her are even whinier. 🤨 I don't hate Karin. I just see no point in her existence. And no being the "scout" does not excuse her uselessness out of those moments. It's like she's a tool instead of a person.
Kishi: Ooh, I need someone to help Sasuke track down a person's chakra! But of course, I'll just use Karin for a few frames and then forget about her in the next chapters. Brilliant!

You make a good point about Karin. But then, unfortunately, a lot of characters are like that in Naruto. Hinata, for instance. She's totally uninvolved with the plot of the series and does little more than blush in secret over Naruto. But when the series needed a convenient sacrifice to push Naruto over the edge into going 9-tails, they trotted the poor girl out. She did what she did and then no one (not Naruto, Sakura, Neiji, etc.) bothered to acknowledge it because the series had already gotten all of its use out of her. Who cares about her after that? And of course there's Sasuke, who is a bad guy just because he's a bad guy. We never have any idea what he's thinking because it doesn't seem like he's thinking about anything, other than just being a bad guy foil character for Naruto.
I guess what I'm saying is, most of the characters in this series are sort of like Karin: tools of some sort--if not an actual tool, than a tool of the plot. She might be a little more blatantly excess baggage than the rest, but eh. If I can forgive the other characters for it, I suppose I can forgive her as well.

Yeeeee!!! Sasuke is really evil!
Sasuke downfall is bit to close to the way a Jedi becomes a sith lord.
i agree, and madara is like darth sidious on crack !!
looks like all thats left is naruto to make an obi won kenobi decision whether to dig a hole to toss sasuke's corpse in...
and LMAO, i find it funny that usually in these kinds of mangas, clinggy girls are always betrayed and killed by the guy that shes clinging too...
hes got the eye of the jew !!!! 😲

I feel bad for the Hinata/Sakura/Karin fans, but let's face it, there's always scape goats and tools in life. People use each other. Most of the time they don't even acknowledge it. Kishi's viewpoint on it is really twisted, but it's pretty understandable too. It's kind of just sad for the sake of sad. It gives you a bitter feeling in the back of your mouth, but it makes the story feel a lot more compelling and realistic.
Personally, I'm digging it.
