Hi all,

I'm looking for a romance manga where there is a conflicted father-daughter kind of relationship, the romance can be subtle (or subjective to the reader in my case) like in Nocturne. The man should be the care-taker or a parent like figure, bonus points if the ambience is dark.

Jinbe Step Father
Hana no Namae He´s been taken care of her for years

That´s pretty much everything I can think off.

I've already read that one 🙁 the few mangas of this description that I've read transition into love too recklessly.

Uuh... maybe you could try Usagi Drop.. the romantic relation develops in the later part of the story.. but to be frank i found it rather abrupt and poorly executed even.... but the initial volumes of the manga were absolutely beautiful.. i loved reading each of those chapters
Give it a try anyways..

A Small World
I certainly hope it could continue longer.
Because I got a feeling that the love would be shifted from the father to the mother passed down to the daughter as romance.
