I don't think it's going to be to "help the shinigami." More like protecting the place they're living. I think they couldn't care less if the Gotei 13 were annihilated.

Geez, is everyone forgetting that Yamamoto, Shunsui and Ukitake are there? o.O Not to mention Soi Fon with her deadly Shikai who's Bankai we haven't seen yet.

So no, I don't think the Shinigami will get their 'butt' wipped. The only one who has a slight chance of doing that is Aizen. Gin is strong, but not that strong. And Tousen, pfft. 🤣

I'm not saying you're wrong, but as things have developed after SS I don't think the "old" "power levels" counts as much. For instance Ichigo was getting his ass blue and yellow against Nnoitra, and Kenpachi broaght him down with out too much trouble. And Ichigo beat Kenpachi in SS. Hitsugaya even said if more than 10 Vastrodes was spawned it would be a certain doom for SS.

Yeah, but you don't have to think like that. 😀 Ichigo only won because of luck against Zaraki. And also because they decided to put all their reiatsu in one strike so that they'll finish the fight in the next clash. Zaraki has an immens reiatsu, but it's a fact that Ichigo equals his, if not is even larger than that of Zaraki, combine that with the fact that he "worked together" with Zangetsu, and you get the victory of Ichigo.

Ichigo was just dead tired from his fight with Grimmjow. So how could he defeat Nnoitorra who had watched his fight so therefore knew all his moves and techniques? o.O Maybe if Nnoitorra didn't see the fight, and Ichigo was completely healed, then he would've won.

And Zaraki is just plain strong, so that's why he could defeat Nnoitorra. But that doesn't mean it was easy. They were both at the same strenght. So I guess you could consider it luck on Zaraki's part that he won.

I know, but right now not even one Vasto Lorde has been confirmed. And SS could handle one/two Vasto Lorde(s) at the same time, no? I guess we'll just have to wait for the next chapter to see what'll happen. ;D

I think that Zaraki's victory was plain garbage... He should have lost since he got cut up so many times... The only way for him to win should have been to use Bankai or even Shikai (not sure if his sword is in permanent Shikai like Ichigo's because it has an abnormal shape). But what happens? He used Kendo? omfg... I though it was supposed to be Ichigo's defining trait to get really strong at a really fast pace. Just HOW can Ichigo beat Kenpachi without Bankai, and then a short while later after he gains BANKAI and HOLLOW FORM be arguably weaker or in the best scenario at the same level as Kenpachi 😕 😕 Can you say PLOT HOLE.
I just can't figure out if Ichigo has gotten stronger or weaker still.

I just hope the hollow inside him takes over for awhile and pwnages all. He should be the main character, not Ichigo. Ichigo is just so freakin dull.

Umm, I thought 9/10 Espada were Vastro Lorde except the weak loser that Rukia beat.

no im pretty sure none of them are vastro lordes. there is still a possibility that 1 2 & 3 might be but i doubt it. i think the vastro lordes should kick aizens ass out of hueco mundo and steal his key

It' has been said a number of times in various places, according to the Bleach data book written by Tite, Zaraki is in constant shikai just like Ichigo, thus the reason it doesn't look like a normal zanpakuto. I would have to disagree though, if Ken-chan acquired bankai, it would almost ruin his characterization. As someone who believes in only his own strength cooperating with his sword would be a 180 in his philosophy up until now. The only way I could see in happening is if it is someone he can trust that makes him look deeper, as in Yachiru or if the person Kenpachi name Yachiru after makes an appearance, which would be interesting if she we're in Hueco Mundo.

But enough of my semi off-topic rant. I think at very least Stark in a Vasto Lorde, maybe all of the top 3. Which makes one wonder What level was Nel before Nnoitra ambushed her?

Nr. 9 was a Gillian. All the other Espadas that we have seen fighting were Adjuchas. I reckon that the Top 4 has some Vasto Lordes.

Nell is intellectual and strong, so it might very well be that she's a Vasto Lorde. But since she hasn't fought for a long time, she lost her touch, I think.

i think nell said something along the lines of we all benefited from aizen to noitorra. i just don't think the vastro lordes would need aizens help in the first place. why serve a weaker being? if anything the top 3 are psuedovastro lordres and the real vastro lordes are waiting to get the key.

I think that Aizen equals or even transcends a Vasto Lorde's strength. I mean, did you see how he fought on the Soukyoku Hill, and in the place where he fought Hitsugaya? He didn't put any effort, at all.

Oh well~, we'll see his true strength soon enough...

That could be attributed to the strength of his zanpakuto though. I imagine it must be extremely difficult to fight an enemy who has power over what you can touch, hear, see, taste, and smell, as noted by Hitsugaya's and Komomura's reactions. Also, Aizen took them both down immediately after they unleashed their respective ban kai's. I don't know, but that moment after unleashing them might be a weakness of ban kai's in general. In his fight against Renji and Ichigo, you have to take into consideration that they were half dead and exhausted to begin with after their battles with Byakuya.

And with the Vast Lordes, I think they could be smart enough to acknowledge the importance of soul society in the preservation and balance of the universe and whatnot. As with the quincies exterminating hollows, the "extermination" of shinigami and the soul society could also bring about the unbalance and thus destruction of the universe. I highly doubt that the vast lordes would want that. And besides, as deathinvenice said, why would they serve a weaker being.

Aizen summons Stark, Halibel and Baragan(the old guy).

Aizen and Yama face each other.

Ulquiorra appears before Inoue, he was ordered to take care of her.

He says he doesn't really get it but it looks like a fight is about to start (between Ulquiorra and Ichigo) even though Ulquiorra seems to be where Inoue is.

It's as if Ulquiorra is saying "come Kurosaki Ichigo".
