I am still a bit curious as to how Aizen will go about making the key tho...

this chapter was stupid... and pointless. what a waste of time. i hope next week's chapter actually has some sort of motion, it was like he took the last couple pages from 313 and extended it into an entire chapter. if it wasn't for the fanservice spread this whole issue would have been a waste

Thats because he was so dumbfounded he couldn't even make an expression. I think he is just a very average/dull/slow type of guy that is just misunderstood. He is slow to understand the facts and has a delayed reaction time which is misunderstood by his opponents for amazing power/ coolness/ awesomeness. In reality hes just as dumbfounded as Ichigo if not more, his face is just slow to show it.

As for the recent events... when are we going to see the Vizards in action? They seem like a cool group and as far as I understand the plot weren't they against Aizen. Right now, however, it seems like the Soul Society group will go against Aizen group. I sort of doubt that Urahara will show up. And lets not forget that the good side also has Ishida and Ichigo's dads, and I bet they are uber strong.

Wonder what Kubo will do next... sometimes he includes way too many characters in the plot...

The vaizards being against Aizen and Ichigo being one of them doesn't make them "good," so to speak. It's just at the moment the vaizards, shinigami, and Uruhara and co. have the same objective: stop Aizen from 1) activating/awakening the hogyoku to form an army of complete arrancar and 2) obtaining the ouken and becoming the king of spirits. Remember that for some reason or another, the vaizards (by which I mean Hiyori and Shinji, but implying the rest) have some beef with both Soul Society and humans in general. For all we know, the next arc would be Soul Society vs. Vaizards.

Remember, Urahara referred to the Vizards as former shinigami that were expelled for using and experimenting with forbidden powers, I'm pretty sure they don't consider the Gotei 13 their friends. Shaky allies with sharp dangerous fangs in this situation at best.
