If I want something cold in the winter (or any other season for that matter) I prefer a cold beer.

Okay, that's the only thing I never understood. How people can eat something cold when it's freezing out. I love winter, but no, I definitely do not enjoy eating something cold when it's cold. Ice cream is for summer and hot cocoa is for winter....

And people say I have my seasons messed up.... 😛

Of couse you have to eat icecream in cold weather just like when it snows you have to strip down and lay in the snow for six hours and get in a hot bath afterwords only to find out doing so makes your body feel as if sixty million knifes are stabing you due to the fact your heating up so fast. 🤢

...not really you just wish to taste a smooth cool feeling in you're tongue, i love eating Vietnamese hot pop in almost any season and especially summer, Extra spicy please 🤣

My dad used to cut holes in the ice, sit in a sauna, get all hot, run out and jump in the water. Naked. That's probably not much different from your scenario.

Generally I don't eat ice cream if it hits close to freezing. I like eating it any time of year but I tend towards hot cocoa, tea and pound cake during those times.

When you eat ice cream when it's hot, you eat it because it cools you.
But when you eat it when it's cold, that's when you actually taste the ice cream.
