Those who are into incest because they have a relative they are into, well...I don't really know what to say. The only advice I can give is to be careful since it's illegal.

I'm not into incest, but I will read it if there's a story behind it. I love mangas with a good story, characters and development.

Incest mangas like Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru are in my opinion terrible incest mangas.

I've always sort of wondered this too. I personally think incest is one of the most repulsive sexual practices out there. It even kept me from enjoying Revolutionary Girl Utena. Then again, as with anything, I support that kind of hentai manga being used as a release for people that might otherwise want to do it in real life.

For me incest in RL is a no-no.. i guess it's how i was brought up..... moreover, i don't think i'm attracted to any of my relatives)) inbreeding never let to anything good... but still there are exceptions.. i guess it still depends on the situation)) a hot one-night stand might be negotiable))

but in fiction, it's totally ok))

So, when you started associating thoughts to those people you grew up with, the last thing that you labeled them with is "potential sex buddy".

Freud said that every human has the desire for incest. Well that's probably discussable, I don't have siblings so I have no idea.

In nature incest between siblings is a good way for the descendants to inherit recessiv inherited genes, so I don't think incest would be that unnormal with humans.

I know many who do it with their siblings. I don't think I just happen to know many of them, it's just that I know many people, and people usually tell me things they don't usually tell to people.

I almost did with my cousin, since we're like 5000km apart from each other, we were in my bed room and found one of my Dad's dirty books and we started reading it. But when the time came that she suggested to do something sexual, I couldn't get it up (must have been because I never thought of her that way) so it ended with both parties putting back their clothes on. Which for me was good since I don't know what would have happened if we did. I believe we're both over it now and have never mentioned it to each other since that day.

I think incest is totally fine as long as no babies are made, it should be like homosexuality, mildly acceptable, and if babies are brought in its due to adoption.

I really can't stand that Freud guy. I've actually read The Psychopathy of Everyday Life and The Interpretation of Dreams and I've come to the conclusion that Freud was a very well-spoken looney. Do you know he believed that asthma was caused by people hearing their parents having sex as children and mimicking their heavy breathing?

When it comes down to it, the only mind he ever really had a chance to study was his own. He may have been obsessed with his mother and his penis, but that doesn't mean everyone else in the world is.

I can say that I've never been attracted to any of my family, be it siblings, 1st cousins, 2nd cousins etc.

I don't have any brothers, just much older sisters, so I wouldn't know about anything there.
Cousins, well they're either much younger or much older. The one's closest to my age are girls anyway. There are hardly any guys in this family of mine. We're female dominated! 🤣
Most of my cousins live in different countries anyway.

But yeah, no I could never consider any sort of relationship with any of them. Knowing that we're related by blood sets a firm barrier in my eyes.

ummm okay.....let's analyze it from an evolution point of view. The lower the animal in intelligence, the more "open to mating opportunity they are". Look at rabbits, they mate with ANYONE....especially within the family. Compare that to monkeys, monkeys choose their mate quite carefully.

As we evolve beyond our animal instincts and move to human reasoning, we will CHOOSE not to do certain things. These inhibitions based on reasoning separates the lower intelligent life forms from the higher ones.

Now that is said, you do have the freedom to choose what you want to think, feel and do. And I respect each individual's choices. I do not know any incest in real life, but like the issue to homosexuality, I have tolerance for it. 😁 Lamb
