Wrong on two accounts there, 1) Shinji didn't break through the actual illusion, and 2) I don't think Ichigo has seen Aizen's release so the illusions shouldn't be able to affect him.

I think they have a 4-6chapter long fight and then the true enemy appears and aizen is just some leutnant of him or aizen died the tradition death of the star wars-evil one "the sith is falling in a deep deep hole and never seen again and he(ichigo) get his girl,rank,etc.happy end"-fin.Or Ichigo gets more power and bla bla bla etc etc etc. he wins and end.

Aizen and the general are locked up in a fight to da death(like the third hokage) which ends up as the general getting killed but Aizen is extremely worn out.Aizen some how escapes and then another arc :D

so yea, ichigo aint gonna fight aizen

My (not to be taken seriously) speculation for how the confrontation may go:

1). Ichigo dies. Aizen kills him. Orihime goes insane and rips Aizen apart, kills most everyone and becomes the new psycho villain. Chojiro Sasakibe, now the main character because everyone you actually care about is dead, begins a long quest to find the power to stop Orihime's reign of madness.

2). Ichigo and Aizen have a long fight. Ichigo is pushed to his limits, discovering incredible, amazing powers no one has seen before. Aizen is unfazed as he is an uber-badass. Just as Aizen is about to kill Ichigo, Chojiro Sasakibe steps forward and announces that he is really the deranged evil son of the spirit king. He proceeds to kill Aizen instantly and becomes the new big villain. Ichigo begins a long quest to obtain the power needed to defeat him.

3). Ichigo and Aizen don't fight at all and instead Ichigo just fights Ulquiorra or whoever. Yamamoto and the Vizard all attack Aizen together. He kills them all one by one, but is gravely weakened in the process. On his last leg, it looks like Aizen has won his long fight against them all, when Chojiro Sasakibe steps forward to avenge his Captain and finishes Aizen off. Some evil demon thing from hell or something pops up who wants to destroy everything, and Ichigo moves on to fight it, starting a 200+ chapter arc in which Ichigo finally achieves the legendary Bankai 2.

4). Ichigo and friends have a huge climactic fight with Aizen. Ichigo watches as all his friends rush forward to fight and is horrified to see them all hurt and killed. Fighting with the "power of friendship" on his side he is actually able to stand up to Aizen but is quickly pushed to the edges of what he can take. On the brink of death, the faces of everyone dear to Ichigo flash before his eyes, awakening a new super special awesome power that kills Aizen in a hit. He moves to soul society, becomes a captain, marries Rukia and the manga is over. Chojiro Sasakibe remains a completely insignificant, disposable character.

They are in order of how awesome they would be.
