Yeah it is pretty popular in the Indian community they are one of the big names in cricket.
As for College we call it University.

In this country, we called higher educations College, University and whatever other silly names.

Yeah, the only real difference is that we called Elementary School, Middle school and High school different names and have a little different amount of time at each of the schools (Primary School = 5-11, Intermediate = 11-13 and College = 13-18).
