Currently I feel like drowning myself somewhere out of several reasons that have to do with life and stuffs, nothing that a little dark heart-wrenching yaoi can't fix (lol). I don't usually favour tragedy, however as long as the main character stays alive, everybody else doesn't have to.

It would be really great if you guys can help me find some stories that I've missed: something that haunts you, pulls you deep inside, a 2-am-page-turner with mature atmosphere, preferable dark but something quiet yet creepy and giving you a chill down the spine is brilliant as well.

Some with "tragedy" tag are not really all dark and twisted. Besides, I've read all of the one in the first link and the second one doesn't quite fit for what I'm looking for. Thanks though, at least I've found 2 manga to read.

Whoa, sorry bro, I just thought those threads fit what you are looking for, because I was going to recommend the same thing I recommended to those, like Shisei no Otoko and Endless World. Sorry if they don't fit what you are looking for, since you did a very subjective request.

Seconding, my recommendations for manga like this are in the psychological yaoi thread. I'd add one that I don't think is there, Un Carnet de Bal, which is bittersweet.

When I am feeling down, I like to read/watch something that goes to a dark place but comes back from it. I watched Fruits Basket when I was going through a bad time, and it gave me a reason to laugh and an excuse to cry - though of course it's not BL. Try my first suggestion in that other thread, Heart of Thomas. It starts with tragedy, but ends with redemption.
