Hey guys

So I'm looking for psychological yaoi! Something that's deep plotted and makes you really think about it. Something .... "different" than normal yaoi.

Some good ones that I've read so far are Cut, Adult na Kaihatsushitsu, Agnus Dei, Aijin wa Korosareru, Bi no Isu, Corsair, Dear Myself, XY, Venus ni Seppun and etc. It's gonna take forever if I wanna write down all of them XD

So any suggestions?

Two of these are not categorized under the 'Psychological' genre, but they were some of the ones that still struck me as more thought-provoking that the average yaoi title:

Koujitsusei no Tobira by Shoowa,
Concrete Garden by Kotobuki Tarako, and
Endless World by Jaryuu Dokuro.

Some are not really psychological (some are even cute and made me think about relationships...), I'm sorry. Sakura Gari, Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume wo Miru, Double Mints, Shisei no Otoko and Endless World, maybe, but the rest still a good read, I promise.

If you want something more disturbing, I can try searching for you in my list, but I don't really like that genre, so some have 4~3 as rating and I don't really remember their names. But still, if you want something like torture, BDSM, I can help.

Loveless is definitely psychological, but not yaoi (shounen-ai)

I'm not familiar with most of the examples you give. Like dalek, I don't like really disturbing stuff, such as BDSM for its own sake. You mention Bi no Isu, which I do like. Here are some with dark themes - violence, yakuza, etc.:

Ai no Kusabi (Cried! >.<)

These 2 are the ones that actually marked me the most with their plots. I don't know if it's categorized as ''psychological'' but they really made me think...

Now I'm gonna recommend some that I think were... psychlogical? but not really cause of the plot.

Maybe Kichiku Megane because he will break him psychologically
Hoshi no Yoru ni Furete and maybe the cage story of Hoshi no Yakata
Sadistic Boy It's just the characters who are... sadist/masochist as never seen before! xD

Maybe Omerta - Kochou no Yume no Kate 😕
Houyou Jikken Hem... I just have no idea what's gonna happen, the plot seems very develloped but I haven't finished it. Not in the mood.

Shounen Zanzou is about a psycho killer (seemingly seme) but the ending's a really sad one 😢
