Mother: used to be a teacher, now is a nurse (head of department, or whatever).
Father: programming machines of some sort. We've never quite figured it out how his profession is called (resulted in many "I'm not sure" answers in school when this subject came up).

No, it has not inspired me in any way.
In terms of knowledge, I admire my father.
My first aspirations for a medical career came from my grandmother (father's mother), who was a nurse.
I actually wanted to be a nurse at first, but that's because I had no idea about any other parts of the medical field (well, I was 3-4).
Throughout the years, my yerning for a surgical career grew.
I don't remember ever wanting to do anything else (besides a certain year when I thought I'd better go and study veterinary).

Mum: Barber, she's done all sort though, Tesco's, Day care worker, cleaner, shop assistant, Librarian...
Dad: In the Army, I dunno what he does specifically, but he's in Afghanistan atm.

Umm..when I was little I wanted to be in the Army haha, but then I didn't, and mum keeps saying she'll teach me hairdressing so I can get a job later on.

My mom has no job. My dad does something with computers at UCSD, not sure what exactly. My step-dad works for Guidance. They build websites.

Mine's a lunch lady and a construction super on the tech side.

Mom's currently a nurse, step dad is marketing
something for an industry machinery company
in Asia, but has got his own company as well which
currently designs farm machinery,
dad is a graphic designer and a cameraman
and step mom is a teacher.

Moms a teacher, the least she was last I heard a couple years back.
And me Dad is a manager, hes been switching lots but now hes with BestBuy. Cant say iv been all that influenced by their choices of career.

My mom is a homemaker, she used to work in the school cafeteria when I was younger and also in a factory before she got married and had us kids. Also she helped her dad (my granddad) with his business. Grandpa used have a business that did silk screening and embroidery for team jerseys, badges for the military, boy scout's, company uniforms, that sort of thing.

Currently I'm in school to become a chef, I'll then be going to Italy to study different Italian regional food styles. I can say my ma's "job" as a homemaker did influence my career choice. In that, she's part Italian and her cooking is one of the reasons I want to cook Italian food for a living.

My Mom was a teacher, She's retired now 😛 & my Dad is a computer engineer.
Both of their work's inspired me 🙂 I might get a job with computer's, Since I don't have the patiance or the tember for a teacher 🤢

My mom and dad work at a nail salon that we own.
I'm not going to take over though.

My Dad is a contractor for the US Army (well, mostly Army) and my Mom is an OB nurse but back at school to get a Master's so she can teach nursing instead.
Well, if I do decide to teach, I want to teach at the schools overseas for military dependents, but that's about as close as I get to being influenced by my parents careers. In fact, it was my long-time dream to be a teacher that caused my mom to go back to school to get her Masters, so I kind of influenced her instead.

Lots of mum's are/were teachers I see

Mother ; Home Health Nurse. Meaning, she is a nurse that drives to peoples houses to change their IVs and stuff because they're homebound.

Father; Pastoral Associate. Meaning, he takes care of the Buisness side of a church. (Like... organizing the place, hiring employees, ect, ect..)
