Parents' Jobs
So, what is your parent's job? D: If you're comfortable with replying about that, and you must be, if you're posting in this thread! And did your parents' career inspire you in some way? Maybe follow their footsteps in the same job area?
Mine have plain jobs, the kind immigrants get... 🤣 My dad works hard though, and he's smart, so if I had to classify my family, then it's uppermiddle-class! o.o

In the end, you still didn't tell us their jobs. 😛

He never answers his own questions. 😛 But blak, you didn't answer either...>: )
Anywho...my father was a veterinarian, I used to help him out a lot in his clinic, might be where my love for animals come from. And my mother is/was a botanist (she's still obsessed with it so ya). I like helping her out with our flower shop, so ya I love plants too. :3
I guess both of their careers inspired me to care more for all living things and just do what I love, since that's what they always did. At one point in life I did consider studying medicine to maybe be a veterinarian, not so much now, but who knows. =)

My father worked for Precision Optics, my step-father is a sprinkler-fitter, and my mother worked in the bakery department of Pathmark.
None of their occupations have anything to do with what I want to do with my life, but I do appreciate how hard they worked.

My dad worked in pulp-and-paper industry. And due to his knowledge of chemistry and his father's teaching he was able to dress fell (at home). He also worked at photographer's studio. He is retired now and does nothing.
My mom got engineer education (major in thermal physics) and works at coughmyunicough. She also does some documentation for an institute that has a deal with nonconventional heat sources.
Though they both don't make lots of money I think they're cool. Now I am more closer to my mother than father but I also wouldn't mind to have a deal with printing.

My Mom's a psychologist.
I'm quite certain that it resulted in a lot of unnecessary childhood trauma ("No! You made me angry, I had no control over it!"), but I won't blame her too much for it- I imagine I would have done a worse job with that sort of philosophy.

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...

my dad's in the military.
my mom runs something like a daycare.
not planning to follow their footsteps.
Let's see:
My mom is a teacher.
And my dad has his own company that transports old people. 🤣
And I have no plan on following their footsteps.
(Kids or old people aren't my style).

I don't know what my mom is, she switches jobs like every month, because her bosses piss her off easily.
My dad is some kind of computer geek...
When I grow up, I don't wanna have people think I need anger management.. (although I do need it) and I'm technology illiterate, so if my parents want me to grow up like them, no thank you.

My mom doesn't work anymore, but she was a nurse. My dad used to be in the navy. He still works for the government.
I thought about following the military path when I was younger, but that all changed as I got older. I'll be graduating in December, with hopes of pursuing a career in Commercial Interior Design (mostly hospitality). Before I die, I'd love to be involve in a game concept design and development.
