wow some really really cool new posts since i was gone, well you guys still have 7 days to submit applications!! Hope they're awesome as well.

I don't think I'll be able to meet the deadline. -w- I have tons of work to do the entire week. ;__;

I'm too picky about sketches anyways.

Anyone want to do a collab with me? XD; I can do either colour or drawing [I can cell-shade for the colour for a more "traditional" anime style, or something in between].

I might get shot for the colors, but I can simplify them. This is just a base idea so far.

Also if you notice she has a 'M' on one foot and a 'U' on the other. :3

Art/Character Name: Gears

How much effort put into the artwork: Sketching time: 30 minutes-hour, inking: 10-15 minutes, coloring: 2-3 hours, the colored pencils take forever.

How you think this best represents manga updates: Well I though of this place as an updating site so a little mechanic came to mind. And was her little carry item she has a screw with her so she can fix and update stuff. :3 And she's like an adorable little manga girl too. You've got you're classic goggles and short skirt, who looks quite adorable, what else more do you need. I was hoping this would also help the site look a bit less feminine. It seems kind of more female based to me with the pastel colors. :/ And Gears could maybe be a bit of a more an active character.

Edit: They might be upside down right now, but in an hour or two photobucket should twitch them around... I hope. :/

Alllsooo! If I have to have only one picture of the one character I'll take away a picture, just tell me. Okies? :3

The skin color on your chibi version (which I prefer, for a mascot), is a little off. You're using too much blue for the shading, and not enough tan/peach/normal skin tone for the hue. You may want to try using a brown for the skin's shading, or even just a lightly apply black over certain areas.
