i think the shark was trapped under one of the tenticals and now its going to thank luffy a zoro abd sanji by leading them to fisherman island

It seems like is gonna be the same plot as every other arc, don't get me wrong, I love one piece, is my favorite manga but this getting separated and then trying to find each other is getting kinda old, I hope they get together to their destination cuz I'm getting tired of seeing them getting separated.

he probably seperates them so they can each have more individual time, with them all grouped up together I guess its hard to write lines for each and every character to keep them relevant.

It's not so bad... unless they stay separated for a long time, which is probably not the case.
In any case it's better than in Bleach, where all the characters are glued to each other all the time. There aren't enough bad guys to go around when you get 20+ important good guys stuck in a group.

I think he is only separating them for a short amount of time. The separation is meant to build suspense at the end. I bet Luffy and them will have tamed the kraken and gets back to the crew with him or the shark helps them get back to the crew. The logia user definitely won't join the crew, he's simply going to spread the news about how powerful luffy has become when he is released.

Franky is total awesome personified. Seriously, nipple lights? I guess it was to be expected but still, it somehow caught me off guard anyway.

The shark was in the grips of the kraken, considering the kraken is huge and only 4-5 limbs were used to attack the straw hats there was plenty of space to conceal a giant shark. There's a chance the shark was suppose to guide the straw hats or meet up with them but got caught by the kraken on its way up from fishman island.

The shark is just a shark, even if it talks, not like it'll be the first talking animal in this series.

Luffy did use haki to beat the kraken as there are 3 types of haki.

Though it does seem like Luffy's attacks no longer affect him negatively anymore. He can do localized gear 2nd (just his arm when he beat the pacifista) and with this chapter he didn't go chibi after gear 3rd (he was holding that giant arm for a good while, so he should have been small for the same time too). That would too bad considering his chibi mode was awesome 😃 .

It'd be pretty funny for Luffy, Zolo and Sanji to return to the rest riding some giant creature of their choice, Luffy's getting the kraken for sure 😀 .
