Reading list: things that im reading week by week or things that i have read that arent scanlated yet......basically its anything i've started reading...usually i will i have read everything that has come out for it but there are a couple on there i stopped reading
Complete List: anything that i've finished to the end meaning it was completely scanlated as well
Wish List: things that look interesting that i might pick up

I read only completed mangas!

reading list: not completely scanlated but completed in Japan, looks good, never saw it or just few pages.

wish list: ongoing series, looking good... never read it too

i do not use unfinished and onhold lists

downloaded: you can guess

hiatus: series that are on hiatus and look interesting

no: not gonna read ever

novels: novels (I don't read novels yet)

potencial 1-2 vol: short mangas that looks good and are completed in J. I like long series better.

waiting for sequel: completely scanlated series that have not completed sequels.

wanna: wanted mangas, completely scanlated with more than 10 volumes

wanna pod 10: wanted, completely scanlated with less than 10 volumes.

and now you are gonna think I'm strange:
oneshots: all completed oneshots (not necessary scanlated), not on other of my lists, (never saw them)
1-2: all 1-2 volumes mangas -//-
3-5
6-10
11-20
21-30
30+
it's handy, it took me ages. And I didn't include hentai and doujinshis

and than I have some lists with mangakas whose works i don't want to read and they have quit many mangas... ex: hwang mi ri ...

Wishlist: A series I'll pick up sooner or later
-Completely Scanned: I can read the a whole new series anytime.
On Hold: A series I started but forgot to be up to date with it.
Unfinished: Series I just can't bear to continue.
-Anime: I watched the anime, no need to read the manga
Complete: Self-explanatory
-Oneshots: Also self-explanatory

Reading lists come in separate parts.
-Light read: 4Komas, Shonen, Shoujo w/ no romance, nothing serious
-Mature: 18+, Thought provoking, Excessive
-Explcit: Series that are sooooo wrong, but so right.
-Romance: Usually the typical shoujo romance.
-Yuri: Self-explanatory
-Lost cause: I'm just reading it to finish it.

Reading list: Series that I want to read, will read, am reading.
Wish list: Series that I want to read but aren't scanlated, I wish it was scanlated, though.
On Hold: Too many chapters out, will most likely be the the last mangas I read after my reading list.
Unfinished: Got discontinued, I forgot about it and when I remembered, I didn't feel like reading it anymore, will never read ever again.

I don't use these lists anymore, though. I cleaned them all out and made customized lists.

Reading list: Currently reading and awaiting new scanlated chapters. Even those that haven't had a new scanlation in a long time, they sit here.

Wish list: Those that looked interesting from the summary but I have no time to or don't want to pick it up yet. So they are here to remind me what I might want to read in the future.

Complete list: I have read the entire series to it's end!

Unfinished list: I started reading it but I still didn't like it after a few chapters or volumes so I drop it here to never look at again.

On Hold list: Those that I started to read but decided I will wait later to continue reading them.

Custom lists

Rejected: I mark stuff "rejected" that sounds unappealing and I don't want to read, but keep seeing it turning up in searches and on recommended lists, so I don't have to keep looking at it.

Wanted: Stuff I want to download but haven't yet, which I'll then move to Reading.

It's interesting to me that everyone has different ideas about how to use the same lists, particularly the Wish List. I've gotten some ideas. 😃 I think I'm going to be making lists for Doujinshi (because I read a lot of doujinshi and it kind of clogs up the regular lists) and Check If There's More for stuff that has been a long time between releases.

I also keep more detailed lists in a personal wiki, which is probably not necessary but it keeps me out of trouble.

One thing I noticed..
If something manages to get into my On Hold List Im probably not going to read it so it will defineately fall into the unfinished list.. Those are both lists that I never open... Graveyards lol

The On Hold: dropped by scanlator, cant find the chapters anywhere etc
The list is STRANGE since it doesnt say if there are more updates.. If i put a manga in this list because it got dropped by the scanlators, I might never notice that someone else picked it up..
