So I think it was an extra to another story like at the end of Red River, but I checked and it wasn't Red River. A prince ends up injured ( I thought he was an Egyptian prince) and saved from the river by a village girl (who may or may not be related to the original protagonists of the main manga). He slowly heals and she feeds him and tells him that he has to work as well. He eventually goes back to his kingdom and summons her. I think its something like that. I appreciate any insight!!!

If it's Egyptian themed it might be from Ouke no Monshou

No, I look but I have never read Ouke no Monshou. Thanks for the suggestion though. The prince may not have been egyptian. I just know that he ended up injured and being taken care of by the a village girl. There was something about learning how to catch fish.

I think I figured out which manga it was. I think it was Desert Love by Riho Sachimi. I must have read it somewhere but now can't find it anymore.
