If happens so that I ask for something it's just in case someone before me already digged it, so I don't have to waste my time, you know when you spent whole day seaching and had dreams about yourself searching while someone already did all the job in the past.
I don't expect someone to do all searching from the start for me, so I also don't do it. Unless, again, I'm interested.
Besides it feels akward to know that someone had gone so far for your sake.
Ah, and I ask for something only after proper googling.

Depends on how its asked and if the question interests me. If so il look in to it (google/wiki) and transmit my findings. I like to help ppl, but some times ppl are dumn/lazzy and its best to show them how to find what they need instead of giving it to them.
its fun to help out so i do as much as i can. i once spent like an hour finding this one manga for someone. it was a good find too
bottom line: helping others means that one day, that help will be returned

I guess it depends on my mood and the topic in question... sometimes i can go to great lengths to help someone.. sometimes I'm too lazy/uninterested, don't care or don't have free time... same as most of people i guess..

I've spent 3 hours reading a crash dump file for someone I only know online. I read through about 500mb of memory before figuring out what was crashing his pc.
What was it?
Some weather program that came bundled with spyware. It was prevented from accessing a certain file because of his anti-spyware, but it couldn't delete/detect it. It would keep spawning a new instance and trying to access the file. Eventually (very quickly) it would run out of memory, and crash.

Meh, too far... 🤣
But only when it's something interesting. ^-^
I've literally spend more than half an hour looking for a specific title for a few people...>.>
And I guess I go too far in a certain section here when recommending titles. Only thing is, I never look through my lists, I only recommend titles from groups I've been a part of, or groups I dl from on a daily basis. And for some reason I tend to add my opinion on said titles...which could go on for more than 30 minutes...which is usually the case. O.O
Just now I logged in to solely recommend some titles, after a week of inactivity. So sad...TT^TT
Will have to stop that...
