What's the point in categorizing people, whether you say they're idiots or that they're awesome. They're individuals, so if you say you like/hate them, it should be because you every single mod is someone you like/hate (or you love/hate every single human (or nonhuman) being. Unless you hate them because they have the powah (and you don't).

I respect authority regardless of how stupid their actions are, there is little you can do about them so I just accept. If they push me around enough or cross the line I'd just move elsewhere.

When I first got here I was afraid to do anything cause all my posts would end up getting modded.

My account has bee "frozen" for some hours twice.

I don't hate mods, I hate the people who give them trouble. If a mod is strict, it is because an idiot, or a group of idiots, somewhere pressed the wrong buttons too much. I would hate to be a mod as well because I hate stupid people and I would probably be hated because I am a bit of a tyrant. If I am warned by a mod or my posts get deleted, I often changed to a more polite style of writing and I stop being so blunt for a while. I also take into account the reason why my post was altered/deleted and try to avoid doing it again.
