While reading manga I take a peek at what's on tv every 5 minutes, If I see something interesting (usually in Discovery Channel or National Geographic Channel) i stop reading and watch

This is a wonderful topic!

While I read manga (when I come home from school) I am actually supposed to be doing my homework. So, I sit at the computer and open the document I am supposed to be working on, and then I read manga. No one else is the room I am in, but when my parents come in, I quickly switch to my homework. Ya....really bad...but that is what I do.

I try to get my homework done while reading manga on another tab in my internet browser. As a result, I'm pulling 2 F's as of now. I can't stop reading manga!!

I listen to music and post in forums while I read manga.

EDIT: I should be doing homework, and I'm somehow still surviving college.

I've done all those at one time or another. Read a page....solve an equation for my physics hw, all the while shoving food in my mouth and listening to music. I've even talked on the phone while reading manga and eating at the same time.

Gosh I'm talented! 😃

I found out about the things early in High School and when I combined it with Gutenberg.org it turned any assigned reading in English class into a cake walk. We'd start the book on Monday and I'd have it and all required essays finished by Wednesday (since I could write them while I was "reading" the book). Afterwards I'd proceed to not show up for 2-3 weeks; I freaked most of my teachers out. Anyway now I use Screen Readers to multi-task. Manga on the screen, Music on the left channel, Reading on the right. Now if only I could be like that Kim Peek guy and read one thing with each eye simultaneously. I suppose that wouldn't help too much though since I can only manage this with low text stuff like Naruto, Bleach, Gantz or Blame!.

usually i just listen to music that matches up with the kind of manga that im reading.

I tend to drink something and listen to music while reading manga.
