You know...

...I fear that this series will end up like Naruto, but I think Shiibashi Hiroshi might have the ability to keep the story relatively concise... though I'm not going to keep my hopes up.

as a fan of the manga i just hope that we do not see 100+ filler eps. or stopping in the middle of a battle for 30 episodes of fillers like bleach and naruto.

You don't have to worry, this is nowhere near Bleach or Naruto. It can't even be compared.

This will be 4-seasons long max. It's probably closer to 2-seasons.

Oh well. I'll always like the manga more~
It would be cool to see it animated though..Especially the 'fear'.

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hiroshi Shiibashi's Nurarihyon no Mago manga has confirmed that the anime will premiere this July. In the story, Rikuo Nura (Jun Fukuyama), a kid who is part human and a quarter yōkai (demon), lives in a house full of spirits along with his grandfather. Trying to escape his fate of acting like a demon, he does good deeds in order to avoid becoming one — despite his grandfather's wish to succeed him as master of the Nurari yōkai clan. The anime cast is identical to the drama CD version's, including Fukuyama, Aya Hirano, Yui Horie, Hiroki Yasumoto, Kousuke Toriumi, Takahiro Sakurai, Tomokazu Sugita, and Jouji Nakata. Studio DEEN (Hell Girl) will produce the animation.

I really hope the animation will be good. The art in the manga is sick and I hope ( since it's the same people who produced hell girl) that the animation will be sorta like natsumai yuujin Chou but better

Thanks for the link ! Though i'm glad for the series, somehow the trailer just doesnt grab me like the manga does. The use of inks in Nurarihyon was one of the most gorgeously done ones i've seen in a while and i hope that rawness and epic feel translates well onto screen. 🙄

The animation looks nice, but what's with the craptastic soundtrack?
