I couldn't read more today (raw page down?) , but honestly speaking sometimes reading Desolate Era feels like read Gilgamesh or others mirhical stories, no deep insight in all de characters, including MC, leave a lot of cliff hanger about it, the cousin, his other maid, his 1st companion and keep going, before yestarday I was pondering keep reading and decided tp see some more chapters if the author fix the things, I really like the MC and characters, the trama universe is very well developed, battle narrative great, but...

its similar to stellar transformation or to say the story from what i think is based on the universes after the 4 main controller of hong meng universes have been established and the story is inside those 1% hong meng space universes with no controllers present in them and just waiting for there masters.

well waiting for last volume to get finish and will no whether it is sequel or stand alone.

cause in last arc there is already 1 guy in other universe with ultimate tao completed and refined his own universe so thats the reason it could be stand alone or sequel to stellar transformation and coiling dragon in hong meng universe .

but its nice story. quite liked it.

Can someone spoiler who is the one girl who he set on ?

the girl he finally set upon is another senior sister Yu Wei (余薇)
the senior in the black white sect who is reincarted heavenly immortal.

She dies when the God king of all demon cave destroy the true spirit of yu wei cause she didnt kill the MC. and also the reason MC left the Three realm to find a way to revive her.
Also Yu wei is also the reincarnated spirit of Kai supreme from whose eternal crystal the three realm core is formed. Thats why to no supreme will be able to revive Yu wei when she dies and also why he has to become supreme cause he has Ultimate Tao .

nine lotus is Ju lian(九莲) really forgot he made companion with her but she rejected him later when he made enemies with an ancient clan by killing there successor cause she was also successor for her own clan , so later he made companion with Yu wei in capital competition i dont remeber what the competition called but there couple was center of attention of whole competition. 🙂

In the competition Jiu lian was regretting the breakup but after came terms to it and decided to never see him again. But decided to remain forever companion less(mentioned in later volumes)
Also she made a sect with only accepting girls who dont want companions
