I love putting up Christmas lights and decor. It's like a puzzle, since our extension cords don't match up. So it's sort of fun? O_O

I've had lights up outside since the beginning of December, and lights and trees up in the house since November. We all wanted lights outside but none of us wanted to have to put it up so that's why there was a delay. November might have been too early anyway haha

I already put my christmas tree and lights last week!
Well my parents did. But I put up the lights in my room. I love the christmas spirit! :3

Nope. None this year.
My dad decided to be the Grinch and said no.
THe only Christmas decor we have is Santa on our door. 😮

We have a tree with lights & tons of decorations, and a wreath by the front door, but that's it. I used to put lights up around the inside of the windows (I have these little suction-cup thingies that hold the lights onto the windows) but then some of the kitties decided that chewing on the light bulbs was fun (kitties are fine, btw) so we don't do that anymore.

The lights and decorations have been done since the beginning of the month. I didn't put any of them up though because I snuck away each time.

I always use lots of Christmas decor, and lights of course too. Not that much that it's too much, but some. ^__^

Just spent 5 hours decorating 2 Christmas trees in the house ( One artificial and one big, chopped down from our backyard) and 2 cypresses in the yard that were recruited for the Christmas tree part.

(We never put lights on the house, no need for it to look like a circus tent.)

The reason it took 5 hours was mostly due to beer and spiced wine.

We had little fake candles in every window, but that was the closest we got to "Christmas lights" this year. I think it was because my mom had surgery around Thanksgiving and therefore never got around to guilting my Dad to put them up...but I like the more simplistic look. We obviously decorated for Christmas, just in a more traditional pattern.

Inside, however, I think my mom eventually got all her decorations up.
