I'm an extremely picky eater.

Favorite Fruit: Ataulfo mango, Fuji Apples, cherry tomatoes, and green pears. (I don't like red/green apples or mangoes.. Or red pears.) And it may seem strange, but I'm not really a fan of berries. 😲

Favorite Vegetable: Broccoli, Bell peppers, peas, corn, & eggplants.

Herbs: (Does garlic count?) I always use garlic with alllll my veggie/meat dishes.

Oil: Vegetable, canola, and corn oil.

I love my veggies steamed and soft! o <3
(and soy sauce flavor.) mmm~

What's your favorite fruit?
It's got to be the pear... hummm pear drools

What's your favorite vegetable?
Probably the eggplant... battered then covered in cheese and put between two pieces of garlic bread.... drools more

What's your herb of choice?
Basil (cause that's the one I know the most)

Type of oil you like? (yeah, strange question).
Olive Oil... though I hate the smell (smells like rotten egg to me), but I use it for the health fats it contains.

Spice?
Cardamom (excellent in Æbleskivers)

What? What is this? A thread dedicated to my greatest obsession?

There's no way I'm going to be able to choose so few from Earth's bountiful splendor. Hmm...

Fruits:
(Everything, but especially) mangos, pineapples, clementines, grapes, peaches, plums, persimmons, dragonfruit, kiwi, blackberries, pomegranates

Vegetables:
(Everything, but especially) broccoli, bok choy, cucumber, onion, eggplant

Herbs and Spices:
Rosemary, thyme, turmeric

Oils:
Coconut, almond

My apologies to the rest of the food world. sob sob sob

Things I hate: Nothing particularly, but I'm allergic to peanut oil, so there goes a good quarter of deep-fried foods for me! sob

I'm not particularly into bananas because they're boring. I dislike lettuce for the same reason. And broccoli rabe is usually too bitter to enjoy, as are raw radishes.

Oh, but I hate cilantro. It tastes like mold to me.

Fruits:
EVERYTHING besides durians

Veggies:
EVERYTHING besides radishes and any spicy peppers

Herbs:
I absolutely love oregano.

Spice:
Cinnamon and curry!

Oils:
Not particularly to eat, but coconut and tea tree smell fabulous.

Hate:
Spicy spices. :s (edit: I just remembered I despise salt, I only use when absolutely neccessary)

I'm pretty open to about any fruit or veggie, I just can't handle spicy stuff. 🙂

Just wanted to bump this. _______ //
My taste have changed in a year!
Strangely, I developed an allergy to a lot of fruits and veggies.

Fruits: Blueberries, Nectarine, Jackfruit, and Mangoes. Sometimes strawberries.

Vegetables: Broccoli, Bell peppers, spinach, and peas.

Herbs: not sure.

Oil: Vegetable.

Spice: not sure.

Hate:
-Bananas. The texture and smell, and just everything about a banana puts me off.
-Bitter Melon. Because it's bitter. But the older Asians here like it. __

  • Durians. They smell.
  • Papayas. Same reason.
  • Avocados. It's dull and pasty. Turns out I'm allergic to them as well.

There are more, but listing them sorta depresses me. I wish I could eat everything.

Fruits: Apple
Vegetables: Actually I hate them but I'm kinda okay with cucumbers.
Oil: I'm fine with most.
Spice: err... no idea >_<

-What's your favorite fruit?
Most probably raspberries or citrus fruits. 🙂

-What's your favorite vegetable?
Asparagus or Beetroot

-What's your herb of choice?
Oregano

-Type of oil you like?
Saffron or Olive Oil

-Spice?
Normally I would say salt, but I don't know if that's considered a spice, so either paprika or saffron

(Because I'm called Saffron, I'm a little obsessed XP)

**-What's your favorite fruit? **
Well ripened strawberries. I probably eat a lot more bananas and oranges, but the strawberries are just divine.

-What's your favorite vegetable?
In season local asparagus sauteed in olive oil & raw summer butter with some salt. It has to be in season and local, or the flavor isn't there (turns bitter and limp instead of fresh and crisp, one veggie that has to be cooked fresh picked)

-What's your herb of choice?
Garlic & basil. Can't get enough garlic.

-Type of oil you like?
I cook with several (and my likes just depend on what is being cooked, each goes with something different depending on the temp being cooked at, or the foods being cooked. Raw butter, Olive oil (unfiltered for marinades, just extra virgin for cooking), lard, and Coconut oil (mostly for really high temp cooking).

-Spice?
I have a love for many spices, really again depends on the dish. Paprika is probably one I use a lot these days though, as it ends up on most my baked chicken.

Favourite fruit -
Mangostin and Rambutan (I bet no-one knows what those are- they're native to my country). I like Mangoes, Pineapple, Grapes and Bananas as well. Other than that, I don't really like fruits much.

Favourite vegetable -
Ladies' Fingers (again, a really obscure type of vegetable found only in South Asia). But I like vegetables in general- there are a few leafy types (like lettuce and broccoli) which I can't stand, though.

Herb of choice -
They use so many types of different herbs for cooking in our country that I can't really decide. I like almost everything, because I love the 'herbal taste'.

Type of oil -
Anything is fine. Though Olive Oil is suppose to be he healthiest, so I'll go with that.

Spice -
Chili - can't imagine eating without it!

Hate -
Spinach- it makes me feel sick! 🤢

Says who? Rapeseed oil is said to be the healthiest. Though I'd say use your own country's oils. If I lived in Greek for example, I would use Greek olive oil, not some South African sunflower oil.
