natsu isnt a monkey =_= hes a kick ass character that cant ride in cars. moneys can ride in cars. look at curious george, he can ride on some baloons. luffy and natsu are different and similar in different ways. natsu cant handle transportattion other than foot while luffy's whole manga is about a boat.
