You also seem to be missing the fact that I'm the person doing a lot of the uploading, with software I wrote to do it! It certainly has issues, but it's better then what anyone else seems to be doing. This isn't what "they're" doing, it's what I'm doing, or at least trying to do. I'm not speaking for anyone else, here.

No, I saw the edit you had made. The fact of the matter is even after you posted that you had fixed the problem, the chapters still weren't uploaded. In fact, I just went and checked now and they're still not on the site.

I'm not saying it's not a lot of work to go ahead and upload the volume of chapters that must be posted to Batoto, but if you're going to claim that new chapters are brought over from Batoto within 1 hour (or 8 hours at the latest), you should be prepared to back that claim up.

I think there is a communication disconnect. Right now, when a chapter is first seen, it's transfered over. I have not written a system for uploading older files, since that actually add considerable complexity.

For instance, 12-beast chapter 8 was posted on Batoto about an hour ago. It's also already up at Madokami. This is also true of Aiura c21, and Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. c43. Look at any english release at Batoto within the last 12 hours, and this should be true.

I do not (yet, at least) have a way of fixing things that should have been uploaded, and have not, due to bugs or so on. If you're waiting for things that went up 24+ hours ago to show up, that's going to take a lot more work on my part.

Right now, when something is first seen, that's the event that triggers the download, processing, uploading, et-cetera. I don't have the structures in place to reprocess things that have already been entered into the item database yet.

Oh, I retargetted the uploader, it's just uploading into the normal directory structure now. I'm actually mopping up most of the files in the "Autouploaded from Batoto" directory now, moving things that should be in the main directories into the folders they belong to.

FTP is slow for metadata work, but it's ~25% done.

Edit: Removed note about failed downloads - I reset them, and they finished.

I get you. I don't understand why BotoX is even in the IRC if he was directly related to the hacking of MT. But then again, I don't even know the inside circle of Madokami so who knows? I am curious to know though.

Those C****Suckers. Thank you Chojiki, now i at least know one way or the other. But damn, i used that site for years. Never found a comparable one before or after. Stuck with DomDom now.

Why would they hack something amazing and screw our lives... That site helped me keep track of the new chapters of my fav mangas. I hope the hackers die from Ebola for taking away the only source of happiness for thousands of people. Way to go A$$holes!

Don't waste your time with DomDom, use FMD, it has Batoto, scanlations with online readers, a better interface, quick response, and all the functions that are premium on DomDom, but It's a freeware.

Edit: Seems like I'm not allowed to share the page, but the MF folder is not in any post on the blog, so If anybody wants it just send me a PM.

I got FMD off Softpedia. It does not come with all the lists of sites, for that I had to go to SourceForge. FMD works to a limited extent. I can grab stuff from some sites but not all the ones in the lists. Batoto does not seem to work for me, but Starkana does. Its a little buggy, like the updater crashes under Win7 and I had to manually unzip some of the lists that originally came with it and put them in the right folder otherwise it would have issues. As I said some of the sites work and I can grab stuff from them, but some don't.

You are right though it doesn't seem to have been updated in quite a while.

You can always try MangaRipper... it works for mangafox, mangareader, mangahere and some more... It has been working for me.
