OK, I've given my story before al ittle bith of thought and created somewhat of a storyline
A boy visits his local library which is planned to be reconstructed into an extension for the shopping center it's adjacent to.
He browses the books one by one and reads the blurbs etc wanting to get away from home and his troubles with his family is having.
As he browses and reads a girl comes up from behind and peers over his shoulder and startles him with a "you should read that, its very good"
He is attracted to the girl and visits the library the next day hoping to see the girl and he does and they talk a bit more
He starts to visit every day for a couple of weeks and he falls in love with the girl, but of all the times he's been at the library hes never seen her leave so far and quickly dismisses the thought, but it eats away at him
He brings up the subject and the girl, having fallen in love with the boy tells him the truth about her, and how she is the "spirit" of the library and explains how the books inside are manifesting itself in a human form, herself, and of how she can never leave the library because that's where the books are.
The day for construction comes closer and they cannot stop the construction nor the tearing down of the building now matter what the boy tried.
Eventually the boy starts reminiscing of his time spent with ehr and what she's said, and realizes that the girl is the books and gives what he has planned a shot, it was do or dissapear forever.
The boy steals all of the books in the library and takes them home, living with the girl.
Many years later he owns his own library and the girl still with him.

Ha ha, a guess it is pretty confusing, but you got it right. The story goes that when Catalyst was younger, before they created the world as it is, she had a fight with the other three and did something very bad, she tried to create another god. She failed and thought it was over, but when they reawaken they disturb the flawed god, the one making the mishap creations. It is this flawed god who is the main antagonist. I have all four gods dieing to protect the exstience of their world, but that may change. I have an aweful tendency to kill of my characters .
My other stories are more just ideas floating around. One is called "Play for Power". It's about an orphaned homeless girl who honestly didn't think she had anything more to lose, and was proved very wrong. She was a skilled witch and was enslaved to the government to do their bidding. This ticks off the girl who joins an underground political party with the idea of overthrowing the government and having her revenge. A couple years later, the girls walks into the government house and kills everyone within with power no-one has seen before. She then disappears, some theories into the anti-world "Limbo", others say she is dead.
Many years later and the girl is praised as a hero by the new government (old underground party). She is even taught about in the schools. This is where one very young and powerful (unknown by others) male witch learns about her. He attempts to summon her back from Limbo and succeeds. The girl is amazed someone so young mangaed to call her back where so many failed and also slightly amused and disgusted about how the world remembers her. She knows that she is only a hero because she was willing to kill so many and it saddens her. She praises the young boy but says she isn't ready to come back yet. She tells him to call her if he is ever in danger, and thus she leaves to whence she came.
Some more years later and the boy is now a teenager and the world is falling apart as history repeats itself. The government has become overbearing, killing all witchs that do not join the governemt, especially the more powerful ones, putting the boy in mortal danger. It is in a run down home in the waste land of a war zone that he calls back the girl. The girl now has a second chance to save the world and see it through, while protecting and nuturing the rather naive boy.
Somewhere in the story it is revealed that the girl has a secret. Her power comes from a contract with a demon, power in exchanged for life when she turns eighteen. It is an unbreakable contract that she intends to se through, despite the fact the demon loves her and wishes to let her off the hook. Will she save the world and humanity, and more importantly her own life?
Wow, that was long.

Just got some few story ideas that I thought of last night.
This one is called 'Home-Run!", taking place in the fictional town of El Sol, California, home of the Sea Tigers, a baseball team that is gaining a strong reputation in the world of baseball. However, problem arises when the team gains some new recruits, each with a personality that some would consider odd and eccentric. Despite criticisms and skepticisms about them, their passion for baseball and their skills is what makes them determine to make it to the big league.
Another story idea is called "Dogfight", about a young pilot in a world where planes fight amongst each other, vowing to fulfill his late father's dream by becoming the champion in the latest dogfighting tournament, facing numerous challenges and opponents along the way.
My last story idea is a one-shot called "Jeane", where a typical high school loner becomes master of a genie, who longs for a boyfriend.
See ya!

I think both of your story ideas are awesome. If it ever came out in manga or book form, I'd be sure to buy it.

Wow! great ideas people! Especially Auro-Cyanide
Anyways I was thinking of something like this...
Spirits have always been with us, created by will, whether through love or hate, happiness or pain. These spirits are unseen by most and have a society parallel to our own, communities where spirits are the norm. These spirits are the thoughts of humans, where the stronger the willpower, the stronger the spirit.
There's a boy, he leads an absolutely normal life except for the fact that he can see these spirits. He thinks just like any other 16 year old, but he's unpopular due to his constant outbursts and random actions (which are usually related to spirits).
He is in the library one day, sulking after having his money taken away, and sees a beautiful girl. This girl stands looking at the window, apparently troubled. He is dumbfounded and then gathers his courage to talk to her. She notices him and runs away.
The next day, after school, after splitting up with the people he walks home with, a dark shadow races towards him. The shadow is unclear, speeding toward him, seemingly eating away at the fabrics of reality. The shadow engulfs him and he is pulled in feeling great despair. Just as hopelessness takes over his mind, the shadow's grip on him (well, his mind) lessens and he sees the girl, looking as if she was floating, gracefully put a paper seal thing on the monster, and the monster disintegrates. She looks pained.
She realizes that he could see him, but the boy does not realize that she is a spirit. After much prodding from the boy, she explains that an ominous force has overtaken the world of the spirits. This self-proclaimed king of darkness is a strong spirit made from the combined darkness of the world (something like "no matter how good they are, everyone has darkness hidden in their hearts"). The dark king at uses spirits of hate to create ghouls, or spirits taken over and turned bad. Only the seals she uses can release the spirits from the ghoul-curse, but the magical resources to create the seal paper has run low. The girl senses the boy's enormous willpower and comments on it, saying that most people would have been immediately eaten by the ghoul.
The girl asks for the boy's help, to save the world of the spirits.
I might finish this later, I have an ending, but this is so long as it is 🙂
Enjoy~!

nothing wrong with killing main characters but its best not to kill all of them, kill 1 or 2 to make the story become more desperate/intense (in other words make the story seem more real, not just uber guys using uber moves to 1 shot baddies)
love the idea of Catalysts past coming back to bite her there to, it adds great depth to the story.
your second idea is great as well but with your main characters try and make sure everything about them has a reason/makes sense (i dont know the right word for it). for instance why was she orphaned? what made her make a contract with the demon? i understand that you may have already thought of this and just didnt have room to put it in but if u havent how about:
Her family was killed by said demon and before the demon could finish her off as well she begged the demon to save her life, the demon struck by her beauty even at such a young age (or insert your own quality) took pity on her and allowed her 10 more years on earth (so she can spend longer in limbo coz technically that aint earth). The story progresses and as the demon watches he slowly begins to love the girl he once wanted to destroy so when she escapes into the alternate dimension the demon asks her if she wants to be freed from the contract.
but the girl never really did forgive herself for the deaths of her family or the way she freed people from one tyrannical only to let them be enslaved by another worse one so now deep down she kinda wants to do.
Now its up to the boy to help her save the people and teach her to love life again enough to free herself from the contract.
i hope you dont mind me pushing some of my ideas onto your story i just love the potential of Play for Power 🙂

That's pretty good. I can imagine the dark scene in a bloody house were a young girl begs for her life from the shadowy figure of a demon lord. BWHAHAHA.
I had the girl being quite confident and sassy. Both her parents died in an accident, unfortunate but not malicous. She was so young she can't even remember. She ended up in a orphanage but she dosn't mourn her situation much, it isn't her way. Her self training as a witch takes up most of her time. It wasn't until the government gets pushy and forcably recruit witches to do their bidding that the girl gets a bit snarly. She escapes and joins the underground group. She soon realises she isn't powerful enough to do much on her own, but there is one way. It is greed for power that leads her to take on the contract with the demon. It isn't easy to contact demons, and they usually don 't demean themselves to deal with humans. They stick to themselves. But as the young demon lord stands before the dirty and bruised girl offer the terms of his contract, power and training in exchage for her soul/life when she turns 18 he is confronted with a devilish smile and firey eyes of a girl determined to see through her fate.
He trains her and watches her, curious mostly, attracted to the strong personality even if she is driving herself into the ground. He falls for her and that is why he isn't too fused when she disappear into limbo, where she dosn't age. Basically she runs away for some personal time. When she returns to try and sort out the mess she left behind and do it right the second time round the clock starts ticking again, much to the dismay of the demon. But the contract that binds them is unbreakable by either side regardless of what the demon wants, so she is going to die, but she'll be damned if she is going without doing what she wants to do and noone is standing in her way. I have the boy (the young talented one) and girl falling in love, but the girl knows she has a debt to pay and so she keeps him at arms length for the both of them. Most of her discissions come down to her personality, which is strong, dominant, realistic and saracastic.
I change my mind all the time, so nothing is solid. And I typed too much again.

😃 i knew you would have some awesome idea of your own. My idea came from my love of darker (perhaps slightly twisted), tragic characters (i blame Berserk, Blame! and the Farseer Trilogy and The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant (fantasy books)).

They sound interesting, and I haven't read them. I may have to go and track them down at the local library. I like dark stories 🙂

I reccomend the Treesong Trilogy 😀 it was the most recent thing i read and got into, a bit of a leap from the farseer trilogy, which i also like, as well as the chronicles (all 3) of Thomas Covenant.
On a whole different genre is "The Sacred Book Of The Werewolf" it's not what it sounds like, and its for more "mature" audiences, one of my favourite books i've ever read.
