Description
The story revolves around Kudo Gai, a mischievous 13 year old all alone in the world. He despises his classmates who live by their free will, although supported by parents, but taking it for granted. Gai soon finds out he is contradicting himself for he is being raised at an orphanage as well,and makes an attempt for independence. His actions lands him in trouble, where he is framed for murder and sent to a place in an unknown location called the 'human institute'.

This is a change from Fukumoto's usual gambling focused affairs and also a change from normal action manga. The art is poor but it's the same art you always get from Fukumoto so it's what you expect. The plot was well paced and had the psychological aspect you should expect from the author while having exciting action aspects cut into it.
Overall it was enjoyable despite its flaws.

A rather good story with interesting characters and a fresh pacing. However the drawings are quite poor and somewhat reduce enjoyment. It may not be a great manga, but its a decent read and at times enjoyable enough.

| From just the cover and the description I didn't expect this manga to be as good as it's, while it's a shounen manga the plot is actually more elaborated that typical shounen. Even if the art might look poor, it doesn't lose its value, at least in my opinion. It was really a good find, I'm glad I got to read it. |
