Description
In the heart of New York City, florist Dan “Diamond” Loving makes his living selling colorful bouquets to customers looking for a little romance in their lives. Actually, Dan has a romance of his own – a secretive affair with handsome, powerful CEO, Rock Melville. Rock owns a good part of the city, including Dan’s own flower shop, and the business responsibilities which go with that make him a hard man to get to. For some, money and power can be a powerful aphrodisiac, but for Dan, dealing with a workaholic boyfriend has its difficulties. True, the time he does spend with Rock always warms Dan’s heart, but what good is a lover he can only see once in a while? Is Dan destined to always come last in Rock’s busy schedule? Or will Rock make the commitment necessary to keep their love alive?

confusing. it looked like the protag from the first vignette is also the protag of the second one; the character design is very similar, and at first i thought he was cheating on his busy lover. however, they're competely different characters as it turns out. but the protag of the first vignette IS back in the fourth, and the seventh. also, #6 is a continuation of #2. *sigh*. couldn't they have put those in a better order?

warning: there's shota/pederasty in #3, though the sex is no more explicit than a couple panels with a naked boy riding on a teacher's lap, making a sex face. and it's a fairly disturbing story because the teacher definitely comes across as a predator, but little raphael thinks he has "gentle eyes". yeah, and he "loves" raphael -- but he has sex with other young kids. no, thanks. this one gave me the creeps, and i don't think it was designed to do that. i am downrating the manga for this.

in general these stories are mostly about two people not feeling truly connected even though they are dating, and their struggle of dealing with that, not so well usually. i didn't feel connected to the stories either, *wry grin*. why the heck was this licensed? the mangaka has much better work out there.

and seriously; don't call a supposed american "diamond loving".
