When “The Majin” awakes the goddess of fate will choose six warriors and bestow them with the power to save the world. Somewhere on their bodies a crest in the shape of a flower will appear and as a result the warriors are called “The Heroes of the Six Flowers”. As the day of The Majin’s revival nears, Adlet, a boy who calls himself the strongest man in the world, is chosen as one of the “Six Flowers”. But when the heroes arrived at their designated location, they found that there were seven heroes present. Which meant that one of them was an imposter and an enemy. Confused by the impossible situation, suspicion and paranoia spread among the chosen. And within a thick forest, the heroes’ fierce battle begins!

Just my opinion, and I only went through the first volume, but the character designs, both in description and the novel illustrations, the thematic, and even the plot twist seem a little too cliche for my taste, plus rather boorish.

I rather dislike the way they fight, way too fantastic and not in a good sense. I could never feel like I gave a nickel who won or lose, nor did I ever got to feel tension. The characters don't interest me or make me care for them either, neither does the mystery, It is not catching me at all, it simply doesn't appeal to me, it seems silly, I can't seem to care who is fake or not, or if there is a fake even.

All around I would not recommend it, but we all know that each person has his own taste on this things.

If I knew that I will like it so much I would have at least waited for the whole 4th volume to be translated ><
It is really interesting. At first you don`t know exactly what is thrown your way. It starts a typical fantasy. The characters were good, storytalling was fine. And then begins the mystery. What the? Is it not the usual go around kill some demons story? Instead there is a unique cat/mouse play and the reader is practically in the dark as much as the characters. Just you think "I got it! The traitor is...." and everything changes so all of the clues so far become useless.
This novel is quite the unique experience. Definitely worth the read smile

I was totally stumped after coming across this novel. For a light novel to have this much mystery & suspense is not,in any way,light(lol).....For me,this must be the second best mystery LIGHT novel after hakomari.....

While the premise sounds like a typical action fantasy, it is in fact a 100% mystery novel, with all the fantasy elements serving only to provide the setting and to expand the number of possible plot twists.
