Description
From Royal Alliance: Sensei, please teach me about love. Senou Miku is a normal high school girl. On the day that she had her first boyfriend, her mother had a job transfer. And then, her guardian, who came to live with her, turned out to be her homeroom teacher, Nishizono-sensei...
It really was too rushed. I think the story could have been good if there had been more time for all the characters to become actually likeable. It wasn't bad, though, and I liked the art, so.. ;D
summary makes it sounds so typical and cliched but it`s actually not. it was short but wonderful. it touched a lot of themes. it hurts but in the end love isn`t always made up of only two people. there are those who will get hurt for the happiness of others. After all, first love dies when true love comes.
This is really good. I wish there was more haha, but I guess it would've dragged on. [spoiler] At first I was annoyed that Mikuni stopped liking Chiho, they were so cute. Nishizono, all he had to do was speak to her and she fell in love. I don't know, but I didn't like that! I think they should mutually fall in love, else I am slightly annoyed. >_<[/spolier] But the end turned out really good.
What a decieving summary... not at all what I'd expected. It was deep, too depp but!!! too short for it being so deep. I mean, 2 volumes!? It just felt like if the mangaka as going to make it that deep, then 2 vol.s aren't enogh at all! I expected it to be all cute & fluffy! Blah... nevermind.
Thats not the point of this manga. If she spanned it any longer the story would have no meaning. She was trying to explain redmption and how moving on from the past to create the future is the best thing you can do.Look heres some things I have to point out; 1. What she felt for Chiho was nothing but a highschool crush, but when she got to know sensei thats when she REALLY fell in love. 2. They were not stupid they just extremely naive, they thought they knew certain matters all to well but they really didn't. 3. Okay Rin wakes up and finds him with another gal. She can't do anything. Last time I checked she did commit suicide, so did she really love him enough to realize that doing that was not the solution to her problems?
So anyways I really liked this manga. It was different from other student teacher relationship manga and you know what you can call Mikuni or Nishizono idiots, or sluts I don't care but the truth is this is a good manga. Enough said.
Honestly it's an extremely cliched and rushed story but I can't help loving it... Must have something to do with Nishizono-sensei It was kkinda cute too Great art though~
I rather like this author. She kinda kills some cliche moments, and sometimes it makes me laugh, other times, no.
But all in all, this story was not too bad. I didn't like how over-dramatic the heroine was at times, but the story itself was alright. Not too deep, since it feels pretty rushed(the falling in love in like half a second seems fake to me), but I feel like this shoujo attempted to go to depths. The only problem here was the length. It just wasn't enough to span over the character depths.
On the bright side, this is like one of those super long shoujos all nicely packaged in two volumes. This could have been a sidestory for Fruits Basket or something. In Fruits Basket, it probably would have spanned longer. I'm glad this wrapped up nicely, and I personally think that sensei and Mizuni are idiots, but they make a cute idiotic couple.
This manga kinda threw everything in to quickly, you never fully understand some of the characters and the ending makes you feel uneasy for their futures. Various things are not established well enough and a very rushed unfinished piece of work is the result. The side story makes it more confusing even though it should give more foundation. I really enjoyed the first volume but the second ruins all the good fun it started out as and essentially destroys its main character who set out as a very lovely average girl. It put her into a very adult and uncomfortable situation worsened by the lead male who does "use her" quite literally, it was all really quite distasteful. I feel that it needed more time and more skill to be pulled off, other mangas have pulled off such story arcs better with more time and better build up. I would recommend you read this if you are bored, it has some lovely art work and the first volume was good hence my rating of a 7.
edit: may I remind patd004 that we are entitled to our own opinions and in my opinion this was not a good manga it was a rushed average manga. Enough said.
i thought this manga would be good and heart-wrenching but later on i didn't like the story...
Spoiler (highlight to view)
she chose the wrong guy who already fell in love with someone before her which is disappointing... i felt like she's being a mistress, what if the other girl woke up and saw his lover having a new one,
would it be too horrible. i can say that the main character in this manga is acting like whore. and the main guy too is a stupid jerk. i recommend u guys not to read it unless theres an alternative story.
it kinda also made me think that my future husband will go to another woman when i get into coma or ill get paralyzed lol... if it were to happen it would be very disappointing about men... it would also make me go with the stereotype about men being LIARS,CHEATERS,SELFISH AND ABOVE ALL BEING UNGREATFUL^_^
At first I thought "a nice silly shoujo manga" but in chapter 11 somehow everything turned. It changed so fast. The story turned from highschool to a very adultlike and serious theme. Still cheesy but quite interesting. Lets see how it goes on.
