Easy to Read...Too Easy
Rating: 5.0 / 10.0

This collection was fairly unremarkable. It was mostly flat 1-dimensional stories with stories that could have been good with their basic premises but were told clunkily. Easy and quick to read, but nothing sticks. The art wasn't anything to redeem the weak stories.

Not bad for a one-shot book

The one-shots here each left me with a little warm fuzzy, rather than cold, like most one-shot collections do. Some of the stories have unique plot or characters, and I think the mangaka does a good job of conveying warmth and a sense of romance between her guys, even in shorter pieces like these. The art was also appealing. Basically, there are a lot worse one-shot books around. I'm glad I own this one.

Boring, shallow, boring, predictable, boring, riddled with cliches, boring, unimaginative, and totally not worth its retail price.

Come on, June! Enough with collections of oneshots and give us something worthwhile. I'm unhappy I wasted money on this.
