From DMP:
"The person I love is you, Haru!" Haru is shocked by the sudden confession from his best friend Kazushi and the passionate kiss that follows! However, he can't bring himself to see the perfect and widely admired Kazushi as anything more than a friend. Determined to win Haru's admiration and love, Kazushi steals a kiss every chance he can get. How long can Haru ward off his increasingly strong and bold advances?
Yet another of the "shojo manga made into yaoi" titles. In my opinion, the uke could pass for a [not-so-girly] girl, and he was really a good-for-nothing compared to his friends. But what irritates me the most is that damn seme, the Mysterious Ideal Guy who is both handsome & friendly & intelligent & hardworking and lives only so that he could support the uke. The difference between them is devastating. I don't like this kind of stories. I don't like the feeling they give off. After reading a manga, i wouldn't want to remember who was on top, and it pisses me off that this time i do, and so clearly... But objectively speaking, this one is ok, so you may check it out.
At first i was annoyed with the uke but i think it was supposed to be that way and it was realistic compare to other yaoi manga. The uke was straight to begin with and i was use to uke in denial with his feeling so i was annoyed that the uke was like that way as well. The relationship and development between the two was good and sweet. Oh btw the uke is straight so the mutual love between the would not happen in just a snap. I don't recommend this if you're not patient and like instant click between the uke and seme. The art is ok and the ending was just great
As previous commenters said, there's nothing here that's new or particularly interesting. Typical cute shounen ai story with childhood friends slowly figuring out their feelings and falling in love. The two friends are in the traditional seme/uke roles, too; the seme confessing first, while the uke takes a while to get over the initial shock and disgust. I wasn't overly fond of the art since I found it messy, but that's a matter of personal preference.
That said, it's cute, so if you have time and nothing else to do, there's no harm trying this one.
This manga was pretty cute and I was impressed with it. I read the scanlated version a while ago though, and remembering it, I had a very hard time understanding what the translator had written. Go buy a copy of it, it's probably worth your money if you like this type of story line.
Here is a good example of shounen ai....we have some light kissing, of course, friends trying to figure out wether their feelings are something more. Now at the end though it was more like yaoi, of course not hard yaoi but it made it stand out from the rest in my book.
Very cute. ^_^ But has nothing original going for it to make it stand out from other shounen ai stories. It's just the typical childhood friends -> lovers storyline.
