Description

Family Complex... This is exactly what Akira Sakamoto suffers from, being the second eldest son of the Sakamoto family and the only NORMAL person. The rest of the family consists of beauties, from the parents to the eldest son and the 2 daughters. Poor Akira feels that he's totally out of place, and tries to hide this from the others... but then one day it all comes out. How will his family react to this? In this hilarious manga, every chapter is dedicated to one family member, starting with Akira. Family Complex isn't quite like anything else.

why rating of this series so high?

Firstable i have to admit i didn't read all of it...
I gave 4 because of its art, it wasn't my cup of tea but not bad either...
Normally i don't leave a comment if it's not in a good way but the comments here were so misleading for me, i think there should be a warning for readers who thinks like me...
i believe family complex could be a good material for a manga but i didn't like the way it adapted here. İ know it's already in the title and should be the main concept but it was still so out there, i wish it was more subtle along a real plot. Characters wasn't deep, they were too single minded for my taste.
First two chapters were so rushed and uninteresting i dropped...

This is my all time fav. manga. Even without the element of romance, the zuthor entertains you for 6 chapters and you'll like it!

A very nice family environment feeling

I normally don't read manga that isn't romance but I decided to try it out since the mangaka is one of my favorites. It's indeed very cute.
It shows each family member's problems and for some it shows the family working it out together. My favorite was the little sister's. I love how she drove the perv away. After reading this, I felt like I should try considering my relatives' feelings.

This story doesn't have much of a plot and instead mostly focuses on the complex that each of the family members have. This makes it very different from most shoujo and some people might find this boring but I liked it. The story makes you question whether it is better to be beautiful or average looking.

Character (40%): 10
I love love the characters! Since the story itself revolves around the characters, the characters have to be interesting for the story to be good. Every character in this story was likable and I like how you can see the inner thoughts and complexes of each character. You can see the character development not so much from Akira but a lot from the other characters.

Enjoyment (10%): 10
This part doesn't really need a comment, I just enjoyed reading the story.

First, the art is awesome. C: I really like the author's style. :3
The plot mainly surrounds the characters on their daily life and how they deal with being beautiful. Really not that interesting (o,o) but it's good if you're looking for something to pass the time.

Ok, the only thing I really really liked about this manga was the art, it was sooo cute (as one could expect from the mangaka). However, the story was BORING! There is no plot, it just goes on trying to be comedic (and failing at it to) about how these beautiful family members were suffering from all the attention they received for their looks. I guess it it some ppl's kind of story but definitely not mine. So, the only thing to enjoy is the art, there is zero plot after all.

Totally Hilarious, great personalities, awesome stories, you won't be disappointed if you pick up this series no matter the person. Although, it would be great if it was translated faster or there was a U.S. Release, i would totally buy it. An Anime or a sequal would rock too.
