Must be read together with Fenrir Craft

Shirogane no Ou, is, in essence, the character introduction and world building that paves the way for the plot proper, which begins to unfold in earnest in Shirogane no Ou - Fenrir Craft. Both series have to be read together if you're to be able to appreciate the story.

It's difficult to pinpoint any particular reason for my loving this manga so much, but I do. The setting's fairly original, and while the characters aren't in any way cliche-free, they're more endearing and well-constructed than your average stereotypes, which makes them oddly alluring.

Sadly, the series was axed at 3 volumes (the one volume here and its two-volume sequel), leaving one major plot thread resolved but the other barely addressed. Still, I don't consider my time as having been wasted: it was an incredibly fun ride while it lasted.

but I just sort of fall in love with this manga. I keep going all over it again and again, and even though there is nothing really remarkable about it, the more I read it, the more I crave for it. Maybe that's what you call that there's no reasoning in love....(ugh...am I being grossconfused)

anyway...I really really want to know the continuation....

Although the start of every chapter is pretty much the same scene, it's still a nice read but I recommend reading this only to further enjoy the sequel which is where the REAL plot begins. That's when 'Right Eye' and the King's secrets begins to unfold and trust me it's one hell of a secret! So just read the first volume for the fun of it! Cuz it's really funny! \^O^/
