I didn't know Panorama of Hell was a cult classic, but after reading it i understand why, the unique art style, the uncanny feeling through the entire manga and the fact that the manga not only shows you something fucked up and and calls it a day, if you pay enough attention to the mini histories you're going to find out a history about the effect obsessions have not only on yoy, but on your family and how those effects can keep on having effects even after you die. My only problems with the manga are is thag we never get to see the paintings the histories are based upon. It would've been cool to see a 2 page drawing of just the paintings. You could argue that we get to see some of the paintings, but it's not really obvious if those are the paintings or if they're the irl locations the paintings are based on. Other than that, this is a really good read that i recommend to everyone.
