I really enjoyed this manga. I mean, the story forgot to mention a few minor details but overall it was consistent, transitioned well, and the characters were likeable. The couple was cute too. The romance did seem a bit abrupt but given how sheltered and overprotected Emiya was, it fit the storyline. I mean, if you're expecting explicit smut you won't find it here but we see that tradeoff in yaoi. The mangaka has to choose which is more important, the plot or detailed smex; you won't find both.
the worst aspects of yaoi *mild spoilers*

This story really annoyed me. The plot is nonsensical and contradictory - Keigo is a private detective (who does assassinations on the side - however he does one hit at the very beginning and then retires. Pointless much?). Emiya tries to use his psychic powers to help Keigo with a case, but is unable to, then a few pages later Keigo is disappointed that he hasn't made any progress on a case (the same? another? - who knows!? No details of any cases are ever given) and says "I have to hand it to Emiya's powers, they really help". But they didn't! Emiya is being held in a facility working on some project (never defined) to make use of his psychic powers, but it is never clear if he's being held against his will or not. Finally it is established they want Emiya's DNA - well if you don't have it after 15 years of imprisonment what kind of secret governments facility do you call yourselves! And the smex is just terrible; vague, nothing is shown, no passion, it's a big zilch. It's like this manga was written to bolster every criticism of the yaoi genre. Avoid like the plague.
