Description
1-2) Dripping of Love Maya and Narusawa, college students at the same university, start sleeping together in what was supposed to be a purely physical relationship. Maya, however, starts to fall deeper into the relationship and has started to want more. Will real love mess up the relationship they have now? The bittersweet story of two people troubled by love.
3) The Distance That Your Voice Touches Miyakawa's upstairs neighbor Tsukasa is always dropping things onto his balcony, and of course Miyakawa has to return them, only to be fed dinner and sexually harassed! It's getting to be too much for the poor college student.
4) I Want to Embrace High school student Takase is unwittingly drawn to cheerful energetic Sora. But as his interest and naturally protective feelings toward his friend become something deeper and more dangerous, Takase begins to pull away from Sora.
5) Shake Kikisui is a waiter in a cafe with primarily female clientele, but lately a handsome man in a black suit has been coming around. Miyamamo has no sense of personal space and a crush on Kikisui.
Love the story, how it starts with the guys who somehow ended up in a relationship and their struggle of confessing and accepting feelings, dealing with each other, fear of being seen by others, ... I love how full of emotion this is, there's really not much happening except their conversations and such, and that's enough because you get drawn in and you really can feel with the characters! I'd love to read more of the first couple because they're great together. The other stories are just as much worth reading.
People say it's just the same as many other mangas but I personally don't mind that (not that I can even think of one that has the same sort of plot) because stories like that, with two people just somehow ending up together and then seeing how the deal with it all, their fears and worries and finding out they actually love each other... I can never get tired of that. I'd read that over plot-less smut any day.
Recommended to anyone who wants to read something really sweet, bittersweet, sort of realistic that focuses on the relationship between the characters and does that very well.
for such short stories i unexpectedly liked most of the characters, and thought their stories were sweet, and there was decent enough development. but the stories were too much alike in their theme: easily embarassed uke thinks the seme doesn't care that much for him (despite the seme being pretty darn obvious IMO), acts distant/annoyed, which makes the seme back off, upon which the uke realises his own feelings. if that had varied a bit, i wouldn't have felt a particularly strong uke/seme dynamic because there was none of the usual stuff that goes along with that, but this stereotyping pushed it over into the area where i start to get a little irked. it was still nice that the uke had agency and made a move himself, and that there was no forcing.
the art is generally competent and pleasant, except when characters are sitting -- it seems their heads are way too small then. i'll watch for more from this mangaka; it looks promising.
It's a quite, nicely done collection of oneshots. I liked it, but it was just a typical "I love him, but I'm afraid he'd hate me" collection. The art was a little awkward, but fine. Some of the the shots reminded me of saha mizu's guys. Tracing? Who knows~.~ Anyways, it was fine. Nothing over the top.
Well i accidentally found this manga because of the cover. The story was cute and heart warming. Even though the stories were short the development between the characters were not lacking. I wish it coulda been longer but it was satisfied. The art was good too, im always up for beautiful art work. Unfortunately this is the only manga KOUSAKA Akiho have, the rest are doujins and a novel.
The story is REALLY REALLY cute..I love it It is cute in a really everyday way, like understanding each other better the art is nice, and the characters are sweet.
