Only difference here is that the stories are longer, the characters are more developed and the emotions are heartfelt. Just as perfect and marvelous as the main story; maybe... even more.
All the stories were so wonderfully told.. This mangaka has a unique style, that is really pretty and goes so well with her story telling Bittersweet, is what comes to mind. And every single story is so good. So moving and so well told... I've read all the works by her (that were scanned..), they are all so good.. Read it!!!!!!
everything was so unique.. i loved reading it~!!! i really enjoy it.. 1st story- i love it!!! the story is told from both perspectives so you can tell why they did those things it so heart thumping!! *dokidoki* i love it!!! 2nd story- even though its shounen ai <which i dont despise anymore>..i somehow i think that its cute!!! but kindda typical..build out of misunderstanding... 3rd story- im not a fan of childhood friends love stories...but since this one has also told about the "growing up disease" i came to like it... 4th story- it was so beautifully heart breaking...it was so beautiful...while i was reading this i cant help but feel their pain...i dont know why...
ehem..ehem... firstly, "DON'T JUDGE THIS MANGA BY THE COVER!" seriously, you'll regret later (I used to do this too then I give it a try.. turned out very deliciously good! ) The stories were divided by four, if I'm not wrong. All those sweet romance in every day life is sooo cute, sad, and slice of life. I couldn't help it to read it several times until I satisfied ( about twice a day) <-- getting crazy. Yes, I'm getting crazy, the character face, body language is soo mesmerizing if you ask me. I love the character relationship. Even though they don't talk much, I could see their passionate. ( It also the manga-ka style, the character don't talk much and their face expression is expressionless and when you see them smile/laugh.. well, jsut don't fall in love ) I highly recommend if you want light romance with short stories nad can make you heart skip a beat x)
I give it 10/10.. because? The art and plot of course! Dang.
Sahara Mizu-Sensei doesn't disappoint! I've read several of her works, and she never let's down on a good, sweet story. Best syrup ever.
First story~ though it was beautifully expressed, I was a bit... Well... "Ehhh" about the ending because there was so much momentum of heart-wrenching sweetness between Kanou and Akino then when the final stage is set, it's more comedic than bittersweet. It felt like it just didn't belong. But whatever, the story makes up for it; super cute and heart-warming.
Second Story~ people who know me well should know I'm very much against shounen-ai, shoujo-ai, etc., but really, this story doesn't only depicts homosexual relationships; it represents all of us. One time or another, there's always going to misunderstandings but we have to work through those times, and that's exactly what this story is trying to say.
Third Story~ adorable, and like almost all of Sahara-sensei's works, relatable. We all go through that phase where you feel as though it's just different, but thanks okay because change happens. I liked this story especially because I can connect with the characters. Oh and because there are just so many doki doki moments<3
Fourth Story~ Memorable. It's not your typical love story, and I love atypical love stories. You'll be surprised how the story unfolds and keeping up with the basic theme of the volume, it's unbelievably bittersweet. I can't say it's relatable though, but who cares, I was satisfied and impressed.
A great volume overall. It's not for everyone with it's simple, slow flow, but definitely a must-read for those who enjoy relatable stories that target the heart.
this is hands down my most favorite collection of oneshots, ever.
i keep coming back to the first story because it's so sweet and cute and poetic all at once. probably my most favorite romance oneshot of all time. i always cry when i read the second and third stories since i've been in similar situations in my life and they really hit home for me. the final story is really sad, though i found i couldnt' relate to it as much as the other stories. beautiful nonetheless. truly a great collection of stories. highly recommended!
OMG This manga was really really good. All the oneshots were so special. The last story broke my heart though. At first I didn't get it but then I read these lines that were vertically written and then I started sobbing
Gorgeous, potent and absolutely wonderful! The art is beautiful, and the stories are well-paced and well worth your time to read. Goodness, I'm going to see if I can buy a copy of this somehow.
The first three stories were already very good but the fourth one really got me. The ending totally hit me by surprise and I couldn't avoid getting emotional. So I started crying, which almost never happens with me. SAHARA Mizu's other manga Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan also hit me like that.
So yeah, I definitely recommend reading this manga. And if you haven't done it yet, read the other one, too.
Oh and I forgot to mention: The art definitely isn't as messy as you would suspect from the cover. The art is really nice!
