This drew me in well but the ending was a bit too abrupt for my taste.
The scene when Jun was taught how to kiss was so nicely drawn out (with the soft undertones, it seemed so gentle).

Well Drama genre always been a no no for me but this i like this manga. The art and the story was great and touching. Even thought the plot was good, the ending was SAD!! I'm guessing there will be no continuation for this oneshot considering its been 3 years.

You know as much as I really want these two to have a happy ending, I don't think I would change a thing about this. It was done so well, and talk about a crushing ending.
I've only read a few other works by this author, but I have a lot of respect for them. Most BL manga is either just sex, or just happy-fluffy-fairy-tale endings, which get old after a while. Everything I've read by her, including this piece, all have an air of sadness to them. The characterizations are great, and the expressions she draws just blow me away.
I really recommend this one.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a Miyamoto Kano fan-girl. She could write a story about two boys grocery shopping and I would squee over it. But this oneshot was PERFECT. Her art was gorgeous as always. The characters were interesting and sad and lovely and deep. The story, especially the ending, were kind of open, like sketches. You don't get back story or a tidy ending, but you see enough. The story and the characters are beautiful and leaving the ending open and ambiguous was the best way to keep that. If she'd given them a neat and clean happy ending, it would have been cheesy. If she'd given them a depressing and more realistic ending, it would have just been heart breaking. Either way, it would have overshadowed the actual story - That two sad, lonely and damaged kids spent a few days together, fell in love and maybe saw the world a little differently for it.
Right now I am so in love with this story it's almost wrong.

I liked the story line and the art. The words were chosen carefully and made for a believable, interesting story. But as my fellow reviewers have mentioned, the ending is ambiguous.
Was that a final voyage for Jun? Did Kouji turn his life around? Did they meet again? What was the story behind Jun? He was too emotionally troubled. I know that 'being treated like air when you are right there,' would certainly be devastating, and possibly prompt dramatic life choices, but a little more 411 would have bettered the story. And Kouji was such a likable cold/hot seme. I wanted to know more about his background.
The facial expressions were breathtaking and powerful in a couple of noteworthy scenes. (See page 26 and 40 of the scanlation.) When Kouji teaches Jun how to kiss (page 27) I was thrilled and had to reread that gentle, beautiful and strangely sad love hotel scene again. Jun was so desperate.
If any one knows of a continuation, I'd like to read it!

This story has lovely art (as always) and potentially interesting characters, but the plot itself choppy and somewhat confusing. I also wasn't a big fan of the ambiguous ending.
