The art was not much to look at for any of the stories, and the sleaze bag males didn't help much either. The heroines were practically the same for each of the stories, allowing themselves to be stepped on like bugs before the light bulbs in their heads decided to turn on. I skimmed through most of the pages, bored with the notion of looking at the art and reading unnecessary information. However, the last 2 stories were not as irritating as the first 2, namely because they weren't as realistic. The fact that the issues in the first 2 stories actually happen in real life was probably what pissed me off the most. And by that I mean the incidents themselves. Not any of that extra crap that was added in between.
The first story does have a very realistic tone, and some deeper meaning to it. But these are the same reasons people bash the series Girlfriend. Even though I applaud the effort I still can't bring myself to like either of the main chars. As for the other stories they're okay if somewhat bland.
I have very many views on this manga. First I don't the girl should be going out with a man who has a wife and kids, that's irresponsible, dishinest, and disrespectful. She has no confidence for herself. That man is absolutely terrible, what the heck were you doing at a goukan when you're married. And then the girl went through so much pain, unnessecary pain. In my opinoin it's reality and revelation but it's nonsense and everyone but the children are lacking in common sense.
I beg to differ with Molenir's description. The story is about a broken-hearted high school girl who falls in love with "the man of her dreams", a man she cannot truly have.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
The problem is he does not tell her that he is married with a family until she discovers it herself. Even though she knows she needs to end this love, it is not until she realizes that everyone is hurting because of this relationship, not only her, but also his pregnant wife and the man himself for driving his wife to a stress related break down. The young girl gives up this immoral relationship and moves on hoping to find her true love. I think it is a story of temptation, lies and in the end forgiveness and lessons learned. It is not about a whore or a skumbag. It is about two people who fall to temptation, make mistakes and eventually realize the path that they should be on and return to it. A sad, but rather realistic love story.
This is about a whore, and how she falls in love with a married man, aka scumbag. They sleep together a bunch, and she finally decides to break it off with the slime. No doubt the slime will find some other tramp to sleep with the next day, and she will hopefully become a decent woman, by avoiding married men in the future.
