I personally find this one of the best works of Chiho Saito. But if you don't like history you shouldn't start on it. But there isn't really a manga to wich this one can be compared too. And as usual the art is gorgeous

I'm always suckered in to reading Saitou Chiho's work T_T. Whether it's good or bad, I'd still read it. I should have stopped at volume 3. I went on and read volume 4 and it just got so confusing and boring!! I started skimming through it :/
Don't take this series too seriously. Consider it if you want to pass time.

Saitou Chiho sometimes writes manga featuring stupid heroines who go around cheating on their husbands and getting felt up by strange men. It can be frustrating because when you read a manga like Anastasia Club, you know that she is capable of so much more.
The heroine Kamui is a first year high school student, but she looks like an elementary school student and behaves like an adult. She is a breath of fresh air when it comes to her personality. Mature, honest, straightforward, and intelligent. Her endearing flaw is her quick temper and her uncontrollable flaw is her attraction to Takuto, the wild, untrustworthy hero.
Kamui's mother died when she was younger and her father, occupied with work, leaves her in the care of her grandfather. Her grandfather is well-known antiquarian when it comes to looking at shady, underground items and Kamui shares his passion. After her grandfather's death Kamui overlooks his antique shop and argue with her absentee father who wants to sell it off. Unaware that the grandfather is dead, Sena Takuto, in need of a shady certification for a mysterious antique skeletal bone said to be the remains of Princess Anastasia, wanders into his shop and Kamui's life changing everything for her. What follows is an interesting look at Russian history and antiques. I myself researched a lot of what was happening while I read. It's very interesting read the history and then read a bit of the mangaka's take on writing historical fiction.
However, the story ends abruptly and everything is concluded in the sequel Zoku Anastasia Club.

Is it really finished?

The story is good, so is the art. But the last chapter doesn't finish the story. There is a huge cliffhanger. So I have to ask if it is really finished. If it is, then its almost not worth reading, because there is no end.
