Don't read it if you're just looking for a hot and spicy shonen-ai or yaoi

This is not only a simple story about boy meets boy they fall in love and f*ck their brains out during the rest of the series...
This is a story about many relationships, and about LOVE... just many forms of love... eyes
from the purest to the most twisted, it has them all...
Also don't think it's booring cause the plot has sooo many twists! eek that will keep u entertain until the very end!...... The only bad thing, it's that u have to be really paying attention to the story cause it's kind of complicated sometimes confused cause of those same twists, but it's good though!
but they all share one thing in common...Despair.. cry ... (and also possessiveness at it's BEST! )...
PD: If u are thinking of reading it know.. be smart and go look 4 a tissue honey, u will need it! LOL ...cause many tears will come! because of crying or laughing laugh cry

Poor characters, and also poor little heart sad ... (of course MY heart! <3 and yours! after u read this!)

I liked it, is not as confusing as some of the comments below claim. I had no problem understanding the plot, it could become confusing at the end but if you take it slow it's easy to understand. I liked the story, I found it to be fun and the art is pretty, tho' I found it a bit strange at the beginning it grew on me ^-^ I read it really fast so that means I liked it bigrazz

The only reason I finished this was because I downloaded it.
The characters all look the same,I got confused by volume 3 and after that I couldn't pick up on what happened.I don't even know what happened in the end and who died.it was quite a waste of time to me

Scene-to-scene transitioning ruins story!

I give this an unflinching 2 out of 10.

I'm always desperate for longer shounen ai and yaoi series and I was excited when I read the summary for this series and saw its length. My initial excitement faltered by the second page. The artwork is beautiful. The clichés are plentiful, to the point of redundancy, but given the entire premise is cracky I can’t complain.

The problem is the execution of the story. It’s clear that Kim Se-Young is a great artist, but not a great writer. I find similar examples of rushed storytelling in other Korean manhwa and I’m inclined to think it’s stylistic of the culture. Nevertheless, I take issue with the haphazard storyboarding. It’s too rushed. Too many things are going on all at once. Between one page and the next, six different things have happened, half of which happened off-panel, or as you comic savvy people would call it in the “gutter”. I understand the artist needs to conserve space and only draw the important events, but that’s no excuse for including redundant images of the protagonist decked out in flowery dresses and exclude the more important panels that tell readers what’s going on in the story.

There are so many scene-to-scene transitions that I simply couldn’t keep up with what was going on. With 9 volumes, you’d expect slower plot development and some moment-to-moment or aspect-to-aspect transitions to really build the world and flesh things out. I couldn’t follow the crazy fast paced workings of this series, no matter how hard I tried. It became ridiculous. Kudos on the art, but Kim Se-Young should not be allowed to storyboard her own work. It’s a waste of artwork.

I really liked this manhwa and the art is beatiful, just a little too feminine, but instead of the main couple I loved more shashi and darek story....It's a pity that they weren't the main couple,it would be more interesting in this way.... Jed and nicole are the typical couple that you can find everywhere so their story is boring....

I'm not really a fan of manhwa, they're just not as exciting as mangas. And the art of this one is really terrible, the first volume is boring and messy.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I mean, He saw the crown prince making out with Shahi and he hates Jed?? What's with that??
But if you can just make it past that boring volume, you'll find a story you can totally get lost into.

But for me, I like the story between Derek and Shahi more that the main protogonist. Their story is more interesting. IT keeps you wondering if Shahi loves Derek or not.

Turns out Shahi really did love Derek and Derek's wife loves Shahi enough to grant his request to keep the child. But we found out his love for him when he's already dead. Theirs is a tragic ending. But I think that;s much better than a sappy typical, happy-ever-after ending.

I picked up this manga almost a year ago, and like others mentioned before, because it was very confusing and dull in the beginning, I gave up on it too soon, as a matter of fact after 20 pages! But trust me, TRUST ME, just get past the first two chapters.. you won't regret it. I have a habit of finishing every manga I start therefore it was bothering me that I didn't read this one till the end. So I decided to pick it up again, and boy... it wasn't long before I was hooked! To the point that I finished it in a matter of 3 hours.

I'm not gonna go into details because it's going to affect your own feelings and opinions about it. However, I will say this: Don`t be turned off by the confusing art, or the dull start, the core of the story begins in the second volume. SO READ IT, it really is an amazing story.

PS: It is very similar to the manhwa Saver!

The plot and pacing is a bit disjointed and rushed etc. The art is what you find a lot in manhwa, at least to my knowledge, so it isn't for everyone--I could tell the characters apart but they do look too much alike. There's so variation in the faces really. I'm glad I read this online instead of downloading or buying since I think it would have been a waste. There's always a fade to black kind of thing when it comes to intimacy, so it's a put off when you already have such a weak plot. There's a gender-swapping plotline spun into the story that was just odd, as well. Not to mention a good amount of het relationships due to political marriages, just in case you aren't interested in reading about those.

My favorite relationship was the one between Darek and Shahi, but even that in the end was left in a bit of a mess. The main couple Jed and Nicole get a happy ending, but you know, they became cliche and boring after a while so the favor was lost on me. You feel relieved when it's finally over, but irritated at the same time bc you wasted your time doing so.

Also, there's a lot of images of famous castles used in this manhwa that were obviously just printed off or redrawn, eg the famous Neuschwanstein castle. It bothered me since it struck me as laziness on the artist's part to not try and draw an original design for buildings. It's obvious she isn't the greatest, but she could have at least tried.

I enjoyed this series a lot. In the beginning I had to struggle with myself to not be put off by the art. Over time I got used to it and didn't bother me so much. The characters really looked the same in appearance though so that was kind of annoying to see one person look so much like another. Great story.

I don't get why everyone loves this manwha. Maybe I just gave up too quickly, but in my opinion the plot was superficial and on top of that it was SO confusing to read (I even wrote down names with descriptions to keep track of what was happening - it was utterly exhausting, and took away the pleasure from reading the story).

The only good think about this one was the art, and it wasn't that great either.
