I had to do it... I couldn't take the inconsistencies anymore.
I had to reread a lot of it to figure out what the point of a certain plots were because it's just too convoluted and filled with characters that make you think what was the point of them being there in the first place was. It hurt to drop this because of all the time I wasted.
So goodbye Five because that was all you were worth to me.

I'm not troubled that much about the art, but the story itself was just too shallow. Well, something you can expect from a reverse harem manga. The dialogues were totally cliche, like sweet and empty unrealistic talks and actions, and I'm fed of those. I don't feel anything from this manga, except for "Argh, the hell". Maybe it's a good read for those who new to shojo manga. But for me who had read lots shojou and seinen, it's just too... Empty. Before my headache became even worse, I decided to drop this.

Well this manga is cool, I mean the heroine knows how to fight and well...if you start to say it's similar to ouran I'm going to say: no; the story is not the same, the guys are more mean (in ouran they are ...just rich kids with no desire for girls), and in this manga they flirt with girls it has a more grown up feeling<-that's my point of view.

I'm usually not particular about art as long as the story is still good, but something about the art in this weirds me out. Their faces seem like they have an alien-like look to them and the face proportions seem off. They're not really manga-type proportions or realistic ones and just look very weird. I think it might be the noses? Not sure. I read the first chapter and wasn't immediately hooked and can't get past the weird looking characters (I can't see any of them as being attractive, male or female) so I'm dropping it for now.

I absolutely LOVE this manga! I know most people are saying it's like Ouran, and I agree. It is pretty similar. But who cares? I LIKE Ouran. If there's a story like it, why wouldn't I feel the same?

Plus, it's not exactly the same. It's just different enough so that I'm not annoyed And boy am I not!

The heroine is great. She's not annoying. She lovable. What I like the most most though is how, even though the lead boy kisses her a couple times, she DOESN'T OVERREACT. She's not all clutching her chest going "What is this? This.......feeling? Blah? Blah? Blah?" No! She's not like this! She's awesome! Strong! Smart!

And all the boys. Oh, how I love The Five. Every one of them. kekekekekeke, oh how cute it is! I especially love Tairaku. How he's impassive, but not really, but mainly is. And how he always protects Nao. Eee he he he, how cute XD

It's funny, too. I crack up every chapter. Sometimes I skip their ramblings on about their silly school shenanigans, but I still know what going on.

As for the romance, I love the pace. I know it's slow. But I don't care! Cuz I'm not too concerned about it right now. Although the romance between The VP and President is SO CUTE I'm about to explode!

So yeah. I'll cool it down now. I'll leave you now with this final statement: Don't think too much about this one. Just love it because you can.

geez i've been reading this negative reviews bout five . . but seriously, even though its like"oohh i know what's gonna happen nxt----- I knew it!" type of manga .. . I am gonna admit (and im sure i'm not the only one here) that it still make me squeal like a 14 yrs. old little girl who's so innocent bout the world.
So . . . what's my point? I think people have their own different opinions about this manga BUT for someone like me who has no life other than reading mangas . . . stuffs like this cliche story is a fresh breath of air that gives u a fluffy feeling, free from freaking stress because u know the ending is similar to "they lived happily ever after"
I highly recommend this manga to all young girls(or guys *wink) out there (^v^)

While i don't understand the bad reviews, this is actually an great Reverse harem Shoujo. Yes it's reminiscent and similar to Ouran, (the heroine getting into an school/class because of her good grades, an group of well known guys smitten with her, she's scared of lightning, ect.) But Hina's different then Haruhi. She's more girly, more stand up for herself rather then letting people drag her anywhere like an rag doll. The girl's got Spunk. Plus i feel this series stands on it's own. it's more realistic and not as outrageous as Ouran. I also love the art. it's definitely Furukawa-san's unique Style rather then the usual Shoujo. The characters are likable, have their charm and funny moments. Plus i'm really liking the idea of

this manga is GREAT. luv the ART, love the PLOT. i love EVERYTHING. to me its not like most shoujo manga where the girl meets guy and they travel through their feeling kiss and end. NOO this is DIFFERENT it has love it had comedy it had rich kids it has poor kids it has strong kids it has weak kids. IVE BEEN LOOKIN FOR A MANGA THAT ISNT JUST ABOUT 1 STUPID COUPLE TRAVELING THE WHOLE WORLD FOR LOVE!!! ITS ABOUT FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE 2. I LOVE IT AND RECCOMEND IT. 2 me its not cliche ( well yea hime is kinda weak) but when she has that coffee shes freakin amazing. LOOK JUS READ IT!!!

Contrary to what a lot of people said, I picked this up BECAUSE of the art, and that's the only reason I kept reading it... I like it because it's different and super highly stylized. As for the plot, it had potential. It really had. But it went right down the drain into total cliche territory. And it's not even half-way decent done cliches, it's like "let's throw in all the cliche's we can think of into one manga." I didn't quite fall in love with any of the characters. They aren't quite lovable or anything like that, and I get them confused a lot. Unfortunately, I had to drop it.

This manga is so ridiculously cliche. Right away, for some reason, the guys seem to take a liking to her. There was nothing original about this manga. It's embarrassingly bad. It reminds me of a very hacky version of Ouran High School Host Club (the girl and the guys really have nothing on the Ouran characters, though). It's just pure garbage.
