Description
A young Taiwanese assassin codenamed "Glass Heart" committed suicide by jumping off a building, and her heart was pierced by a metal fence. Miraculously, her life was saved by heart transplantation. During her recovery she began to experience strange dreams, which led her to Japan looking for the donor of her heart, who happens to be Kaori Makimura, former partner of City Hunter.

Spoiler (highlight to view) This manga had an awesome beginning! So awesome that by the time Glass Heart settles down to be City Hunter's daughter, it got really boring. And it didn't just end there, Glass Heart is being encouraged to abandon her killer instincts and live a normal life... LIKE NO! Her being in action was the best part!!

This series, being a perfect sequel of City Hunter and just like CH, it's ridiculously good.
The first part of the story somehow seemed a bit off to me. However by volume 3, the story were back on track, and then it just got better and better.
Definitely a must read, also many thanks to Evil Genius for the releases, please keep it coming.

well, it a really good manga. even it 's supposed to be an alternative sequel of city hunter i can help but think that it's really what's happening after city hunter.
the drawing are wonderful, and really different from City Hunter. I'm actually reading the france version of it. and we're much further in the serie than in the english translation.
Hold on , guys 'cause it keep getting better and better!!!

I grew up with city hunter. Everyday after school i would grab my a city hunter from my drawer and read on the sofa. Today is the first time i'm reading angel heart. I cried on the second chapter.

the best! words can't explain it! ppl should read city hunter then this manga!
then they will know true value of this story!! other than the story its has a good art and its really funny! it has everything you want in a manga! same goes 4 city hunter as well!  i recommend it~!

The drama is good but the whole feel of the series doesn't resemble City Hunter in anyway. It's supposed to be an alternate universe because of the events and history presented in the series but the fact that it's not a non stop action and comedy fest like the original City Hunter makes it feel even more different. While I do like the new detailed art style and deeper longer story lines I miss the fun of the original.

| good manga (so far). the supernatural part is a bit 'blah' and the drawing is detailed (i guess would be a word for it). but overall it has a good feel to it. |
