Description
This is an adaptation of the Mirage of Blaze novel, and so far seems to follow the original source material closely.
The complex plot incorporates a large number of elements - including romantic melodrama, historical politics and supernatural fantasy. Japanese history predominates the heavily structured story-line, which mainly involves the continued aggression between power-wielding guardians ('possessors'), and the denizens of a 'feudal underworld'- a group of restless souls belonging to long-dead samurai from the Sengoku era who are attempting to re-ignite those age-old wars in present-day Japan.

I love the anime so much. it's a beautiful story between Takaya x Naoe (even though there isn't any kiss here!). But once I read the novel, I FELL IN LOVE MORE with this one! and yeah, there are a sex scene too here bigrazz
.....
But it's hurt to read the ending of novel T____T

Not exactly sure what "Ongoing?" means, but if the story doesn't go past volume 9 in the manga, then I'll probably skip it.

I love Mirage of Blaze, especially the novels (except you can't find them in english). Great characters and char development, as well as an interesting plot.

The story is unique , the characters are heavily worked with distinct personalities. The plot is amazing with all the datails of the locations.
I'm not very fond of the manga because the art style seems 'old' since it's from late 90 but very good to read.

I'd recommend the anime/OVAs which have a better-looking art style and the Novels which is much better than the anime/OVA and manga. The character and story development there is awesome.

It's a shame this series haven't had a new manga version or a longer anime version =/

The novels are incredible, and with a mangaka like Shouko Hamada the manga is turning out much the same. The artwork is gorgeous and of course I love the story. The characters are great, and the idea is unique. This is amazing, just wish more was scanlated bigrazz

a true master piece. I just cant find any word for describing this amazing story. every thing about it is special. the art in manga is skillful but the real beauty of it is about the story plot. you have to try novels of MOB for sure if you wanna give this manga a try.
