It was good with Hayes and Yune, and initially the relationship btw Alan & Jo was funny enough... But seriously way too many chapters are dedicated to Alan-Jo and I just lost my patience with it!
Awesome !!

I didn't go into this manga expecting much, but it did exceed what I thought it would be. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of tranquility and quirkiness that the artist created at the café, Provence. The characters were all entertaining and different in in their own way, and the love stories were cute and uncomplicated. Not a masterpiece, but a very pleasant and fairly brief read. Recommended, especially to those who like Nicky Lee's other works.
Not good!

I'm so disappointed with the way Nicky works on this book. She uses photoshop too much that she doesn't feel like drawing a noodle dish or even a simple bottle. Except the characters, every other thing is added by a simply way "take photos and then using photoshop". Why don't they think drawing backgrounds and items is also the functions of a comic artist. Many manhua artists depend on photoshop and I used to think Nicky Lee is an exception. I was wrong. The more they use photoshop to work on backgrounds, the more they show us how lazy they are. That's what I thought.
Well, the plot is so so, the art is disappointing. What else can I say?

It's all right. I didn't really care for the story in Volume 1 but Volume 2 was slightly better. Story 1 in volume 1 was far too simplistic for my taste and so was the first half of Story 2. But the continuation of Story 2 in Volume 2 made things a bit more interesting.

This must be a later work of the mangaka as the art is more carefully drawn and the drawn lines are more mature. The content is pure romance but somehow its laid back and less slapstick than Youth Gone wild which ppl definately prefer coz of the music band venture and more number of bishies (yes, THAT IS true!!) which is a good sign in the part of the author. You could say that I was seduced by her beautiful art which does resembles Souryo Fuyumi, especially the solo Alan sitting on a chair. She does draw one of the best bishies.

The story is pretty simple, but with some little, amusing twists and leg-pulling of shoujo cliches here and there. Characters are funny, especially in the second part.
Art is generally fairly good, depending on the care the artist devotes to the panels: sometimes the characters' features and anatomy are too... 'square' , sometimes instead they're really pretty (the best example is a single b/w full-page pic of Alan sitting, beautifully drawn and shadowed, that resembles Fuyumi Souryo's art).
